Got recommended this video ill have to watch it later I always enjoy hearing about sisyphus, just pushing that rock lol, Its interesting to think how one legend has influenced something, i have heard of Camus and the whole "one must imagine Sisyphus happy thing" ill have to read more on it, I consider myself more or less a nihilist but i do find absurdism interesting sometimes. I guess they wre similar in a way.
The way I see it, absurdism is essentially the atheist’s version of finding god, acknowledging that even tho we live in a purposeless world we still can find enjoyment without chasing a “false hope”. It’s interesting stuff
that makes a lot of sense honestly, as someone who was once religious, when i first discovered absurdism it felt like it was ok for things not to make sense. But I guess thats anytime someone goes from a strict "this is what happens" to "we dont know"
