Mate if you are right handed change reel to wind left hand as ALL you strength in your right hand for holding rod to direct fish & play fish as you no have strengh left hand … old saying is right hand man use left hand reel enjoy

We went camping there with my grandad years ago and were some of the best memories and good fun times now days you can't camp anywhere don't do this don't do that gone are them beautiful times it's all about caravan parks and other accommodation vying for your money with rent fuel food ice bait it's just not possible for family's to have a cheap in the tent by the fire fishing good time anymore so much for our free country may as well live in China or Russia bring back our Aussie freedom it's all about greed now and ripping us of on every single thing so un australian

G'day Rohan. I was at the Basin at the same time you were that day.I can tell because of the wind direction. It hasn't blown that way for a long while. Usually it's a howling southerly. I was fishing from the kayak straight across the water from you along the far bank you can see in your video. I ended up getting half a dozen reddies. That line of trees you were fishing to your right, the furtherest tree you can see its still only about 5 feet deep. We're the dogs in the video yours? There's always one that comes to say hello. He's from one of the houses along the shoreline. If you go around the shoreline to your right there's a nice little cove that's deeper and has some fallen trees in it. I've tried it with lures but it's a bit weedy. Would be worth a try with the worms I'd reckon. Hope to meet up with you one day to say g'day.
