Once you get your permit, you'll need to meet certain requirements before you can test for your license...
This incorrect is unfortunately.
Passing on the shoulder is illegal, and you advocated for it. Not a good idea at all.
i hate everything these are so redundant
I'm glad you didn't think you had the right of way over that white truck turning right. I'm seeing this too often down here in the south
Here because of Sioux Falls
People in Ohio don't care. They just go around them and exceed the speed limit.
Wow, this is very informative!
This is incorrect. You should not move over to the middle lane, you should move over to the furthest right lane available. "Slower traffic keep right" is ambiguous and requires you to judge relative speed of people behind you, which is difficult for many. "Keep right except to pass" is way easier to understand and makes for much more orderly traffic as it eliminates scenarios where someone is cruising in the middle or left hand lanes and only moves over once they notice someone is coming up behind them.
Hello, we respectfully disagree. First, part of reduced risk driving practices requires a driver to judge distances, speeds and anticipate what other motorists may do...Additionally, in Texas it is not illegal to travel in any lane, unless there is a posted sign prohibiting travel is a specific lane, i.e. "Left Lane Passing Only," "Right Lane Closed," etc....finally, traveling in the middle lane of a 3 lane highway allows a driver an escape route to the left or right in case of an emergency or a hazard.
@@parenttaughtdrivingcourse8886 please check Texas highway regulations. Section 545.051 paragraph 4(b) states slower traffic must keep right. So by your logic when driving in the middle lane you must continually move right when someone overtakes you, then move back to the middle lane because it is “safer”. This sounds impractical and dangerous. The right lane is safest. You also have a shoulder to escape to, which is way better than escaping to a lane that may have traffic in it.
Thank you very much. This is very helpful.
I'm a new driver, and I was doing ok w/ turning until recently. It was an unprotected left turn, and on the opposite side, a large SUV was also making a left turn. My view was obstructed. The car behind me was honking at me nonstop like a maniac. When the SUV moved & I could finally see, I turned. The guy behind me honked and aggressively drove around me, while crossing into oncoming traffic. I was trying to stay poised, but ngl it shook me up and I had to pull over to collect myself.
This technically isn't an uncontrolled intersection. The real video and the animated video are NOT the same scenario. Let's say the car in the real video is facing West. The North and South bound lanes both have Stop signs. They're always going to yield to traffic in the West and East bound lanes. And the car turning left is always going to yield to opposing traffic.
THANKS!!
☹️
THERE'S A CUTIE VEHICLE AND... A WHOLE HERD OF CUTIE VEHICLES!
Thanks for the info dad
Hey, could you please waste 24 seconds of my life with these intros and outros? Thanks so much fucking reggin
Why the heck you want to have un controlled intersection?
Because the government is too lazy to spend money on them
They are very common in subdivision, low density neighborhoods and slow surface roads in residential areas with low to no traffic.
Omg, I keep telling the same. Just control it
Thanks for sharing!
Quick question, for unprotected left turns, I thought since it's green you're supposed to advance into the intersection (or maybe the second limit line). In the video, I think you waited until oncoming traffic was clear and then you advanced. Was this due to personal preference or are you supposed to be behind the line? Thank you! :)
NICE!
boo!
damn bruh, they got those tdi confessionals with these cops just sliding across the screen 💀💀
me asf
Love the music
Bruh bouta hit my 2 hour daily limit for this driver ed course
im going to wrap my car around a tree 😜
this is insane
What’s up with the uncanny emoji at the beginning and end?
@1:45 How did you make it that its unprotected left. In the left traffic light unit, there are 4 units , so there could be arrow signal as well? How do we know the difference by just seeing the solid green traffic light that it is a protected left or not?
You made me fail my test
Second comment
drivers ed go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Horrible advice! You should never pass on the right - it's unpredictable for other drivers and unsafe.
Hey Matthew, first, thanks for the opinion, but respectfully, we're referring to cases where there are multiple lanes going in the same direction. We always advise to err on the side of caution, but this video is specific to Texas, where it is legal to pass on the right or left, under certain circumstances & conditions....thanks :)
e
Do I have to wait at the intersection for unprotected left turn or can I go in the middle of the intersection and make the left turn
I was about to crash when doing this. Dude missed me by a few inches
Who does not have to stop ? And who has tostop 🛑
What's the 3 way stop meaning
yes
;-;
UwU

Such a bullshit video. If the officer pulls you over and your black you might get shot or arrested.
;-;
o
I hate these videos
Lolol no one commented on this, thanks by the way
Hi I live in california and in a couple days I take my driving test. I know there are multiple unprotected left turns and my driving instructor told me to inch out when i am the first person in line and wait for oncoming traffic. Is that true. Can i always inch out and then complete my turn? or should i always stay behind the crosswalk? Also idk the rules in california but can i still complete the turn of lets say the light turns yellow if i am already stuck out in the intersection?
Hi Sierra, motor vehicle laws are going to vary in each state. In Texas you can "inch out" into the intersection, to complete an unprotected left turn, as long as the traffic light is green and you are the "First" vehicle in line :)
@@parenttaughtdrivingcourse8886 Okay, i’ll try to look up some things about california laws, but thank you so much and i appreciate your videos!
