The Boys Season 1 Episode 1 Reaction
Nice reaction❤
wow! one should think more would react and watch the reaction, i agree, it is an awsome series. old kick ass "hero" but in space and added some x. men sh.t, scifi fan most love these, i do and im a fan of scifi. ; ()) Cool reaction. thank you.
For the record. That scene with Gandalf vs The Witch King. Fans of the book hated that scene, The Witch King is nowhere near Gandalfs level.
oh that's a relief to hear, Gandalf's my guy
This series is amazing. . The fact that you are willing to react is great. You made a follower here
I really enjoyed it, prob one of my favorite underrated sci-fi films
Powder saw Silco at the end of episode 3 for the first time, she hasn't heard anything about him, in the scenes in which she watches from the side while Vi is fighting Powder almost certainly also doesn't see him So it's not unrealistic that in her emotional devasted state she doesn't realize who Silco is and what he did / straightly thinks about it and even if she then later realized Silco gave her "care" when she desperately needed it, so she would at least anyway be conflicted The statement of Powder about Vi not being her sister anymore is probably an impulsive belief she wants to put on herself to put her hate for herself onto some else and put distance to her loss in the situation
I see my mistake, I still would have thought that she know better when she saw that bully blonde boy with Silco. She is just a child and emotionally wrecked at the time too.
@@Blunt_Batarangs I'm pretty sure Powder only saw the bully in his Shimmer-mutated form during the fight, and since he didn't make it out of the building alive... Everyone misses details on their first watch. If Arcane has a flaw, it's that it's almost too densely packed with relevant detail for any human being to catch on one viewing. :)
The Hobbit book is short and sweet, but you can skip the films
Would love to hear your thoughts after reading all three books
Very good reaction. You deserve more views.
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it
Frodo was so badly wounded when he got stabbed and from his experience as a ring bearer, that there was no recovering. Because he (as well as Bilbo, and eventually Sam) also had borne rings, they were entitled to go to the "Undying Lands" (aka "Valinor") continent at the edge of the world where only immortals (such as elves and Gandalf) are allowed to set foot. Tolkein explains a lot of the background in the _Silmarillion_ and some of the fairly logical answers he gave to frequent questions (such as why the ghosts and eagles couldn't go to Mordor while Sauron was still present there) have also been collected and published - good companion reading for the books. I agree with you about the film's quality.
Does Valinor exist in Middle Earth? Could Sauron, if he won, could have traveled there?
@@Blunt_Batarangs Yes, Valinor is a continent on the edge of the known world (in the medieval sense), while Middle Earth is a continent that is at the center of that world (in the view of men, Hobbits, etc.). Valinor can only be reached by sea. Tolkien's son Christopher collected and edited his dad's unpublished writings a _History_ _of_ _Middle_ _Earth_ that provides further details. My recollection is that, in the ages before the LotR, the world was created by the god-like Ainur, some of whom took up residence. They made helpers called Maiar, and some of these were later sent in human form to Middle Earth as "wizards", as Sauron, Saruman, and Gandalf (and I think the Balrog) all were. Sauron was the most powerful of these and turned to evil. When they "died", they returned to their actual spirit-like form in Valinor. That's what happened to Gandalf when he died fighting the Balrog (and as his mission had not been completed, the Ainur sent him back as Gandalf the White). Sauron, however, created the Ring to contain his spirit to avoid going back to Valinor were he defeated. When the ring was finally destroyed, his spirit had no form or place to which to return. Obviously, the movie had to simplify all that and more in order to make it watchable.
@@kevind4850 I see. Thanks for the info.
Frodo had physical & mental & spiritual wounds that couldn’t heal. Similar to ‘real world’ PTSD. Tragic
What a wonderful trilogy of movies. It defined a generation. We were lucky to have them. :)
most definitely. Instant classic
There have been talks of a fourth movie coming up at some point whether or not it happens we'll have to wait and see
God i hope so, such an underrated sci-fi
I encourage reacting to the sequels
keep going man i trust u bro
Riddick fury’s set to film this August. Finally been 11 years
as an immigrant kid myself, "you never call even though we have family plan" is the reallest line in a movie ever^^
no more episodes?! 🥲 I would also think that you would get more attention if the videos wouldn't be that short, but I could be wrong about that
the end xd
You had the same reaction I did!!! Great reaction!! New subscriber
Yes the ring has a mind of its own. It has a telios.
Broo why U stopped posting?
Promo sm 💯
Glad you enjoyed it! I also think it’s a masterpiece
When his finger was cut, Sauron left his body, so he couldn't be captured. Then he was patiently waiting for a better timing and he could reform his body, in the meantime. He put in his ring and in all Mordor a part of himself
I loved that film so much and I'm glad you posted a one-hour reaction. ❤
Elvish ropes are intelligent, that's why it came loose when Sam pulled on it.
At 10:35 you say, "There's just something magical watching a large group of horses charging!" You're really going to enjoy ROTK.
Since no one mentioned it :-) Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) broke his toe when kicking the helmet. He was not acting since he screamed in real pain.
Since Frodo is the bearer of the One Ring, he has some mental connection to the bearers of the Elven rings. Elrond, Galadriel and Gandalf are the owners of the three elven ring; that's why Frodo has dreams/ visions of Gandalf & Galadriel in the movies.
In the history of Middle-Earth, everyone who has fought a Balrog had died. Even people who have slew a Balrog 1st eventually succumbed to their

I'm very worried about nanamin's injury but his over time is incredible🤣🤣
Wow mahito is so strongg. He can expand his domain after a short appearance
People always wonder how elves can do all this athletic stuff. Its cause they are one of the first beings of middle earth, as known living nearly an immortal life. But they are also vegans and they are pretty light. I dont know how light they are, but its cause they are so filled with magic, they are so pure. (Light Beings) I guess a grown elve is as light as a small human child.
A couple things to keep in mind, which are not revealed in the movies, Faramir is looked down upon by his Father because Denethor’s wife died while giving birth to Faramir. Also, Denethor has access to one of the seeing stones and through it Sauron has been presenting to him horrible visions of Denethor and the Kingdom of Gondor being defeated by him.
The films were all filmed together as in one huge film, but were released 1 year apart, giving them the chance to edit and do some pick up shots in between, as needed. Even though it was so difficult that Peter Jackson later said that he would never attempt to do that again, the quality of the films remaining same, if not getting better as they progress, shows how well this worked for the end product of his efforts
Ok I've seen way too many reactors not get what the priest meant I'm genuinely curious why don't you agree with him
Is he saying love is death? The soldier probably didn't decide to die nor give his body up to be absorbed into the earth. Is love just the natural process of life?
@@Blunt_Batarangs no he's saying that true love is unconditional love, love that doesn't choose who to love, and that because you have no will in death, death is the essence of love as it is indiscriminate
Glad you’re enjoying the films, they’re great, aren’t they?! My favorite part of the battle of Helms deep is at the end, when the trees kill all the remaining orcs. It seems that when Tolkien was a boy, he went to production of Shakespeare’s play Macbeth. In it, three witches prophecy that Macbeth will become king and will not be attacked until Birnamwood comes to Dunsinane hill. Since trees cannot move, Macbeth wasn’t worried. In the play, the soldiers who attack tie twigs and branches to their helmets, so it looked like the wood came to the hill where Macbeth‘s castle was. Tolkien was so disappointed in that scene that when he had a chance to write his own battle sequence, he made actual trees come to the fortress, lol. It’s my favorite behind the scenes anecdote! ❤
just gotta do it yourself
At 10:30 this scene is the primary reason Tolkien fans prefer the Extended version of the movie to the theatrical version. This scene with Boromir, Faramir, and their father was cut from the Theatrical version of the movie, but it goes far to explaining so much of Boromir's motivations in FOTR. There's another important deleted scene near the beginning of ROTK--you'll recognize it when you see it.
At 9:49 you say, "He caught you in a lie, Frodo." It has always bothered me that Peter Jackson & Co. put this lie in Frodo's mouth. In the book, he is truthful: "I do not know where he is...He is only a chance companion met upon our road, and I am not answerable for him. If you come upon him, spare him. Bring him or send him to me. He is only a wretched gangrel creature, but I have him under my care for a while."
You should watch jjk 0 movie after season 1 and after watching movie then starts season 2 .This movie is all about okkotsu yuta and you will understand season 2 better after watching the movie
will do
Isn't it just the best!!!! The battle for Helmsdeep is so awesome: the ladders coming up and then the explosive moment when Legolas wasn't able the get the Uruk-Hai down. A cool detail, that is not that clear in the movie, is that the Uruk'Hai was in beserker mode, they filled there helmets with blood of the enemy and when they put it back on they become enraged.
one of the best scenes ever
Darn bruh, if you're gonna react to something, you should actually react. Why would I want to watch someone sit in silence 🤷♂️

@@Blunt_Batarangs whatever you gotta do to get them out I suppose
Yes, the elf who brought the elf army is Haldir, the guy we met in Lorien (Galadriel's realm). Maybe it is supposed to be a joint Elrond/Galadriel army.
I swear the one in Lorien had grey/silver hair though
@@Blunt_BatarangsYou may be thinking of Celeborn, Galadriel's consort.
At 14: 40 you say, "How can both of you be sleeping?" In the book, Frodo and Sam tried to take turns sleeping, but they were both so exhausted that the one on watch would sometimes fall asleep.
At 12:12 you say, "Leagues? Speak American, please!" A league is a somewhat variable measure of distance. For purposes of the movie, you can think of it as 3 miles or so.
I've only heard leagues in terms of water never on land
At 8:42 there are many scenes in the movies where a character's lines were originally in the book spoken by a different character. The opening words of FOTR are spoken by Galadriel against a black screen even before the title card comes up. In the book the same words, slightly altered, are spoken near the end of the story by Treebeard! But the strangest example of this to my mind are these words of Grima Wormtongue. In the book, they were spoken by Aragorn to Eomer, much later in the story. And in Aragorn's mouth they aren't creepy at all.
Aragorn can say anything and it wont be creepy
At 7:30 the disappearance of the Entwives is explained in much more detail in the book (no time for explanations in the movie--gotta keep moving!). The Ents loved the forests and the wild woods, but the Entwives loved the smaller bushes and plants and made gardens to live in. So the two sexes seldom saw each other. The great War seen in the Prologue to FOTR swept across the Entwives' gardens and destroyed them; the Brown Lands east of the River are all that remained of them. When the Ents traveled in search of the Entwives, nobody could tell them which way the Entwives had gone. When Treebeard asked the Hobbits whether they had seen any Entwives in the Shire, Pippin replied, "Are they like you at all?" Treebeard answered, "Yes, hm, well no. I do not really know now...But they would like your country, so I just wondered."
So are the Ents going to be extinct?
At 2:00 you say, "There's a higher tier of being above Wizards." That's right: Tolkien doesn't say much about this "higher tier" in LOTR, but The Silmarillion deals extensively with these higher beings and their relations with the Children of Iluvatar. Tolkien was a committed Roman Catholic, so it was inevitable that Arda, the created universe, would be ruled by a single omnipotent God, called Eru or Iluvatar, the All-Father. Iluvatar takes almost no role in the day-to-day running of Arda, leaving that to his agents, the Valar, the Guardians of the World. The Silmarillion is all about how the Children of Iluvatar, the Elves and Men, get along with the Valar. This is vastly oversimplifying the story; read The Silmarillion for details. Suffice it to say that when the Valar try to direct the lives of Elves or Men, the results are seldom good. You don't need to concern yourself with the "higher tier"--Tolkien spends little time on it in LOTR, and I can only find one reference at all to it in the movies, when Arwen prays over the unconscious Aragorn, "May the grace of the Valar protect you."
So much lore
Yeah, middle-earths god sent some of his "angels" to earth in the form of wizards. Saruman defected, so when Ganalf died he got sent back in a form similar to that of Saruman.
