I bought that fragrance when it first was released and honestly didn't sit well on my skin. " it felt a bit unbalanced and was sour smelling off my skin. I gave them another chance with their version of Creed Aventus absolu triple age batch, and once again, it's a sour sort of funk in this one also. Whatever oils or pheromones they use don't work on my skin

I heard the wood aroma chemicals in this was way too high by a perfumer that actually makes his own fragrances Aaron Terrance Hughes. I really want to try it but I’m skeptical about getting it.

What’s the projection like on this ?

This has been my all time perfume since I discovered this when I visited Osaka in 2023 and found this in one of the Pharmacy along Shinsaibashi. I got a lot of compliment with this perfume.

I recently purchased this, and it absolutely hits the mark of the 1982 formulation I wore when Drakkar Noir was released back then. It doesn't lack a thing and the extrait concentration is perfect. I could not be happier especially since the current formulation of Drakkar Noir is an abomination.
