I went back to see Gordon after he won, and caught him in action spraying off some Barley. He operates a Bateman RB35 with Capstan PWM, he shared his top tip of using the load calculator through Gatekeeper when he needs a part load to finish a field.

Some more testimonial work I've done for @KroneUKLtd we paid a visit to Will Murphy a baling contractor in Essex. Will runs two BigPack balers and supplies power stations with straw. Over the last two years I've interviewed the finalists for the Syngenta Farm Sprayer Operator Of The Year (FSOOTY) and as with all farming jobs you can't order the weather, but I did catch Richard on a day when he was working with the Pre Series Horsch PT with the new Claas X11 cab, what a machine, it's always impressive to watch the Horsch booms working. This was a visit to a baler, where I could see the city of London from the field, which seemed odd to me. Ollie Fuller runs a contracting and farming business with his family, this was their latest BigPack baler, a 1290 HDP. They bale grass and straw for farmers and the equine sector. as well as this machine, Church Farm services run another 1290 HDP and a four string 890.

I took the afternoon to have a look around the ploughing match, a staple yearly outing from my childhood. I have a look at the ploughing, hedge cutting and Hedge laying competitions, and try to explain whats going on. Ploughing matches happen all over Europe, and later in the Video are some of the 'Euro' style competitors with their very adjustable ploughs, and more modern tractors. enjoy

Another of the project I worked on with Krone UK, visiting the Stunning Rothbury in the North east of England. The Walton family run a mixed farm, making their own feed, along with baling straw. they use a multitude of Krone equipment.
