How to remove the blower motor and how to put it back on.
Do you need gasket maker with this
So is removing the radio and climate controls not an option to access it?
Lord
Thank you brother God bless 🙏
🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Also, thank for taking the time to show us the three screws; no other video does that. You filled in the blanks.
DUDE, Thank you! Saved me the hassle of removing the serpentine belt and moving the AC compressor. It required some extensions and swivels, but I got it! Hopefully no more oil leak after this.
Hey quick question. Im going to do this on my lady’s car, you end up torquing them down specific or just getting them tight enough fix the problem?
what size engine is this? V6 or 4 cylinder
This is the 3.5. Mine looks exactly the same, including the heat sheild he removed.
Thank you @@gunrock73
V6
Thanks
Thanks 🙏 definitely saved me alot of swearing on that last bolt
Thank you for posting 👍👍
how the F*** did you get the blower motor out?? mine wont drop far enough to remove, Ive turned 1000 different ways and there is not enough clearance , I can just see about a half inch of the fan blades and the motor jams on the top of floor board . this truck is by far the biggest piece of crap i have ever owned , constantly breaking only 100k on the odometer.. POS
Yes getting the blower out can be abit of a pain, what i did i pull it down and then pull it towards me, even though its a big truck, there is still not enough space to grt some things done. Good luck.
I just finished replacing the Blower Motor in my 2006 H2 Hummer. This video was a great help. A few additional tips though: 1, If you're a large person this will be difficult unless you're really good at Yoga. Put the seat back as far as possible. If you're a really large person hire someone else to do it, you won't really save money if you have to pay a Chiropractor to straighten your Back afterwards. 2, The connector on the new Blower Motor might look like it doesn't fit but it does, if you purchased an OEM part. It will not connect strait on. Tilt it about 20 degrees then it should snap in. Be careful not to break the tab on it when you remove it from the old Blower. 3, The hardest part for me was putting the shield back on. Pay close attention to how it looks before you take it off. I would snap a pic just to be safe. In case you're wondering why I changed the Blower out first, mine was cutting out and then coming back on. That meant it was getting power to the resistor. Good luck, you can do this.
Would this make one side blow only hot air
No, this will NOT make one side blow hot air, in that case your problem is the A/C core not properly working, or the AIR CABIN FILTER could be clog up. This would be your problem when trying to get cold air, if you are trying to get HOT AIR during winter time then your problem is a clog up HEATER CORE. Good luck.
