Great to connect with my UoO roots via this recording. I live in the UK now and therefore am way out of synch with US Pacific time, so couldn't watch the live event. The last celestial "event" I attended in Eugene was - and here I date myself - as a grad student in 1987 for the so-called "Harmonic Convergence" which was a big astrological date, though definitely not so on the astronomical calendar! My girlfriend browbeat a grumpy me out of bed at 5am and down to the banks of the Willamette we went to join the celebrations. I hope that Eugene's wonderful hippy dippyness is still there! I dream of Oregon and miss y'all! xxxoooxxx
