Like, she had a rider, just like Toothless and Hiccup, and the Light Fury loved her, but then the girl's village got attacked by other humans and when Light Fury got to the village, she saw 'The Night Fury Killer' kill her rider, before getting caught by said guy to lure out Toothless in HTTYD 3: The Hidden World. That'd be interesting.

I'm picturing this as Hiccup's granddaughter having a light fury.

This is such an amazing animatic! Shameless self-insert or not! I love the way you did the silhouette in the moon and the northern lights shining on her! You draw the dragon really nicely and those short scenes where you see their feet running or jumping are really smooth! And this was years ago! I can't wait to check out your other animatics!
