Our friend...star of stage and screen Kevin Weisman came in this week to talk about his new HBO show "Hello Ladies" (premiering Sept. 29) costarring and created by Stephen Merchant, his origin story, his time on "Alias", and and a brief yet impactful jet setting love affair with Tom Cruise. As always Matt Belknap can't believe his luck to have hooked up with a couple of winners like Pat and me....

My friend "The Aaron Sorkin of Porn" Jacky St. James(writer/director for New Sensations "Torn" "The Temptation of Eve") came in for an hour of talk. We talk about her career in the adult film industry and my possible addiction to it?. A hotel room in San Diego, Pat ruined a friendship for me and Matt Belknap thinks we live a seedy underworld of Los Angeles life style. Real Dolls, fleshlights, m...

As part of a Q&A session at The Cinefamily in Los Angeles on August 22, 2013. The D end the show with a performance. Subject of the interview was The Festival Supreme a comedy music festival taking place on the Santa Monica pier on Oct. 19, 2013. Shot this using the Noir filter on the 8mm app for iPhone. Didn't have a chance to change the filter but I kind of like the way it turned out.

After a couple weeks off we're back...Pat somewhat reluctantly but I think it was good for him to do it. We start off with me asking Matt Belknap to get me on a friend's podcast about "Saved By The Bell" (my new life goal). Then things get a little deep as we discuss Pat's father passing away as well as a mentor of his. Another odd "double date" we went on and talk about Saturday morning TNBC s...

Frank is going away for 4 months to film a movie with Sly Stallone in Bulgaria so Pat thought we should have him in before he leaves. He was late getting there but once he showed up he took very few breaths. Talk about American pop culture being terrible from movies to music to TV. Frank grills Matt Belknap about "29th Street" and rails against acting classes. At one point we just watch a Hulu ...

WE'RE BACK. No guest this week just Pat, Matt Belknap and me sitting around talking about the state of the podcast. Coming off the blockbuster success of the Kyle Gass episode we're trying to figure out where to go from here. Lots of small talk but that's sort of what this is. The Big Slick Poker tournament in Kansas City, a "double date" Pat and I went on, and a wedding I'm going to. Just spit...

This week we finally gave in and asked our friend Kyle Gass (Tenacious D, Trainwreck, KGB) to please please please sit in with us for an hour and he said yes. Matt Belknap is a huge D fan and even started aspecialthing.com in the early ots as a fan page for the band so this was a huge nerd out for him. We talk about "The Festival Supreme", making/writing music, touring, and bouncing back after ...
We should all be so lucky.

The American John Cleese xD
Brilliant ❤❤❤
I love the laughter from the audience at the beginning of the song.
God I loved this show. That running Hoiberg gag use to have me in stitches
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
"grandpa, were you a hero in the war?", "no, but I served in a company of heroes"
“Grandpa were you a hero in the war?” “No I wasn’t. But I served with a company of heroes.” -Major Dick Winters of the 101st airborne
That long beep at 4:22 is TOP Highly Questionable. 😂😂😂
Haha! Did Papi ruin Fred Hoiberg's NBA coaching career? 😂😂😂
Na the Eminem one got it 😂😂
"Rocket....I'm taking a rocket......"
This was on my first phone like 10 years ago :( gives me good chills lol
Have no fear when vlad is here.😂
"It's Fred." 😂
Thank you for this!
The Trombones Unlimited recorded this track in 1967 on their very first LP...it should have been a huge hit on Rock and Roll radio stations back then if only a few brave DJs had the guts to play it at the end of each hour merging into the news at the top of the hour...I still have that LP and 2 others of the 6 the group recorded...
What’s the name of the original song? I’d like to listen to it

I love the look on everyone's faces wondering who's calling 😂
And if it hadn't been for John Spencer's death he would have.
R.i.p major winters thank you for service
i ran around as bingus on the moon
Corey is going to blow a gasket. Dude needs to calm down
Well if that doesn’t leave you completely gutted, i dont know what will. As beautiful as this show is, my favorite part is always the interviews with the men themselves. What an inspired tribute
Dude...... This deserves so many more views! I honestly like jack more when he isn't playing guitar cause he sings his goshdamn crazy head off!!
It’s the greatest honor just to listen to these men and the stories they hold
They're all gone now. The last surviving member of Easy Company died last month. The Band of Brothers is now eternally reunited.
For anyone wondering who did the original instrumental track, and where you can hear it: ruclips.net/video/deda5iSRuQM/видео.html Its real title is "No Time For Talkin' ", composed by Eddie Karam for Trombones Unlimited, from their album These Bones Are Made For Walkin' (1966). It was NOT composed or recorded by Esquivel, in spite of the Esquivel album cover send up in the skit.
I served in Company of Heroes 2
And the last living member of Easy Company passed away today. Rest well Band if Brothers.
Thank you brave warrior for your service and sacrifice to our great nation. May you Rest In Peace.
I come back to this sometimes when I think about the shoe
Can we take a moment to give Tracy Morgan his flowers for this great song?! 💯❤️😎👏
I miss this Highly Questionable. Dan, Bomani, & Papi were money. Papi was the funniest person on TV for about 5 years
Ring ring riiiiing...It's Fred Hoidberg, what's that. @DallasAnubis used too many words to get his point across?
Now I can't get this out of my head. DANG IT!!!!!!!! Why did I click this. LOL
Tracy deserves a free ride on the Musk rocket for his Astronaut Jones character.
I’m Packing My Suitcase
Heroes that murdered with machine guns. Germans are people too (Or were before they were murdered by machine guns)
And they were just that. Heroes.
Esquivel And His Orchestra. Love the album art.
Completely retro badass.
The greatest song ever written.
Love his voice
If this doesn't make you cry, you aren't human. What a fantastic man and, even more so, group of men. Truly the greatest generation.
...He worked at Vought international.
Astronaut Jones sketches were hilarious. That time he caught Britney Spears off guard during the live show was hysterical. Yeah Tracy
I still sing this song regularly.
