The main ”innovation” of hw3 seems to be the added terrain. Is it adding anything for real to the gameplay or is it just a gimmick you think?

I think as a Hiigarian you should make some Gunship in order to win swarm vs Vagyr, am I right? Otherwise you can hope to hit some very good emps but it's not very reliable.

Really don't understand why they replaced HW2's fleet command actor with the same actor from HW1. Nothing against the guy at all, but the previous actor was fine, and there's no way the same guy who commanded the Mothership Fleet in the first game would still be alive after all of this time. Big continuity snarl I say.

How do you use archive.exe to rebuild a .big file? I made some changes to an existing mod and don't want to publish to the workshop but need to load it as a .big since there are multiple .big required to load

I need help in modding for Homeworld Remaster. 1) I like Taidan side and played HW with Taidan 2) For HW-R there is a mod for Taidan Campaign 3) Also I want to capture Turanic Raider cruisers 4) There is a mod for capturing all the ships 5) Problem is that Taidan Campaign and Capture All mods are incompactible with one another - so activating those 2 mods togather breaks the game. I want to make an adaptation of Capture All mod to wordk with Taidan Campaign. I did not fount Your HWRM server on Discord.

20 Years since I first got hooked on OG Homeworld. So I had been looking forward to HW3. Tried the demo today, wasn't remotely impressed by the camera controls or the clunky UI. What are your thoughts on the current state?

Was this on Standard difficulty? The AI seemed stupid. Also you said not to use formations, but you fighters were in Delta formation the entire time. They also fixed formations since release.

i didnt even know hwr was still alive mp wise i just went back to classic because I'm gonna try cataclysm for the first time the control scheme and camera is a bid harder to deal with though

Honestly the scuttling flag ship strat completely re-conceptualized my understanding of fleet composition and I will definitely need to try some wacky plays and weird carrier centric vaygr builds soon

I knew about the Kiting of Torpedo Frigates vs Pulsar Gunships. The same thing works with Vaygr Battle Cruisers, as the Lasers on the Cruiser get good shots off against the Corvettes.
