After listening to this for the 4th time in a row I mentioned it to a Brit who informed me that it's from George Martin's "In My Life" (1998) on which he dropped mad science producing this cover to his original specifications, explaining several subtle but effective changes I'd noted but dismissed as an "I'm just trippin' balls" phenomenon. If you noticed the changes and feel they added value to this track, which seemed the most effective or is it an all-of-the-above thing?

"I defiled a timeless piece of art" Carrey proclaims when he actually does a credible job representing for The Beatles, Martin, Lennon and this dope track. A mostly straight performance (mostly) in which Carrey gave enough passion to do right by this monster track which is a surprisingly good "IATW" variant.

This is Mega. Mr Carrey is a great artist. He is pitch perfect and, being an actor, he knows exactly how to use the lyrics. Please can we have more?

I love this video and I always come back to it when I need a laugh. Jim is such a pure and amazing Soul. Despite struggling with Depression, his only goal in life is to make others laugh. He’s an inspiration to me and my art, having struggled with Depression myself. Thank you, Jim, for your kind and sincere existence 🫶🏻
