First of all you should have waited till the frost had blackened the tops of the dahlias, secondly I think you have been a bit skint on the fertilizer since the stems were so thin. I think you should leave the soil on the tubers, not big lumps though, and let it dry out for a week or so, upside down so water can drain from the stems. When they are dry enough, you jsut shake off the soil, and pack them into a cardboard box like how you do it. Remember to label each tuber so you know what they are, unless you have only one variety. There are pieces , mostly some furnitures i 'd be interested to find in my country, however they only sell linen and some small stuff like cookery table wear etc..too bad.Where is this shop located , it has such a nice range of pieces
