Why does mine cover the whole canvas? No matter what size I make my gradient (even if I simply click/tap) it covers the whole screen with the colors.

Too bad it doesn't work quite right. If you drag a node to close to the center between left and right, it will snap there. And I can't find a way to by past it.

Just realised that holding shift while double clicking finishes the line at the point selected without adding the extra bit on the end. That extra bit on the end after completing my curve has been a nightmare.

For those who are confused about the undo button, the undo button has disappeared, the solution is settings> toolbar shown> make sure you check file, edit, and brush and stuff. Hopefully this can help calm all of your stress.

Hi Wonderful Videos about Krita, I just found you on RUclips last week. I have an issue which I hope may be you can help me out with. Issue is when i complete the artwork and group the layers to scale down using transform tool, it leaves a shadow image beneath after i scale down. Can you let me know where am i going wrong or is there any setting in Krita 5.2.2 which i have missed or must activate??❤👍

3:14 You can increase and decrease the size of the text with the handles, once the select tool is active i.e. 'the arrow' you then need to click the tab which sys "Tool Options" (it's probably around the colour selector on the right) you will then see various options - tick the one that says " Scale Styles" you will then be able to resize just as with other selections...

Hello is there also an option for you to unsave or change the file as JPG? if its saved already? the problem is i already saved my work. and i just noticed that the tiles were missing. basically i can no longer go back and able to modify anything in the first place. please please help me. its my first time using the app.

Thanks for the tutorial. This is a terrible program compared to Photoshop. The way it handles text is just plain stupid. I actually came here because I couldn't believe it worked this way but yep, it does. I don't know why developers can't just admit when a big company like Adobe does something right, and then just copy the idea and make it cheap or free. It's not illegal to copy a basic concept like that, but instead, the nerds always feel like they have to try and one-up Goliath, and that's why all these free or cheap programs are so useless. Very disappointed with Krita overall.

For @mytube001 (I can't seem to reply directly to your comment.) I think the issue you are having is trying to use the edit shapes tool in a paint layer. The edit shapes tool can only be used in a vector layer.
