Thank you for sharing this...love is an action and it is not always about speaking the word. Sharing the word is though our acts...being the hands and feet, eyes, ears, and heart. A lot of times, our message is through what we do and not what we say. Be aware of the times that you do for others, they are experiencing God through you.

I am trying so hard not to use the comments section as my engagement in the conversation... Can we normalize (in general as a society) the exploring of identity and desire to fit in (or be accepted) as a function of survival? We need community, we need a tribe...for the function of survival. The lone wolf has a lower chance of survival than the wolf that travels in the pack. In a tribe, resources are delegated to the strengths of the individuals and it distributes the load and allows the further survival and production of those people. I love how God teaches us how to survive and be in connection with each other. The healing that happens in community...the freedom that happens in community... James 5:16 (TNIV): confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. Covid caused so much community disconnection and isolation that coming back into alignment with one another requires us to be intentional in all of our relationships...most significantly our relationship with God!

We don’t honor leaders who are corrupt and not looking out for the best interest of the people. God will forgive us for that. Gone are the days where people are mistreated by those in power. We don’t have to participate in their corruption.
