The Difference Between Arrogance and Confidence | How to Build True Confidence
#ConfidenceVsArrogance #TrueConfidence #PersonalGrowth
In this video, I discuss the distinction between arrogance and confidence and why it's crucial to understand the difference. Arrogance is often characterized by an energetic mismatch, where someone appears confident but feels insecure underneath. On the other hand, true confidence is grounded and authentic.
I also touch upon the importance of distinguishing between humility and self-deprecation. Owning your own talent is humility, while self-deprecation undermines your confidence. It's essential to be true to yourself and avoid boasting or bragging.

Very well articulated!
I'd play ACL if there were any up here in North Michigan. I have to drive 3 to 4 hours for any ACL tournaments
Love the content
Meesh From watching the pros on live streaming I see some players that definitely need to fix there mental game. I know you understand this and someone needs to get them to understand it.
I will definitely try this, thank you!
Great hope it helps!
That was 100% me in the Major in Spooky Nook this past weekend
You’re not alone!
Do you like country music? Do you want kids? Do you only speak and understand English?
This is not a video of a real person
huh?? Yes, I am real 🙃
@@cornholemeesh nobody mentally prepares for a game of corn hole lol
@@spikedwk impressive that you know all the cornhole players of the world! I actually work with the pros all year as a commentator and sideline reporter for The American Cornhole League. But, you're right, I am sure you know better. 😉
@@cornholemeesh I'm just saying that if my grandma can play, you don't have to mentally prepare for it. All you need is lube and a can-do attitude.

That's huge because I've defeated myself even before I ever threw a bag
Simple fix!
This is true to most things in life, amazing advice from such a high level! Preach girl preach!!!!
Best thing in the world to bring a family together with healthy competition.
glad to see you back!!!
Great information. ❤️ it!
found this video and channel at a very much needed time. thank you very much and im looking forward to watching the rest of your videos :)
I’m finally learning the flat bag and when I release I put my hand out like a handshake, it’s weird but it seems to be working lol
Great video for a cornhole beginner or low intermediate player wanting to go competitive. For me... grip was an issue given the different bag options, material and fill. It took me some time to learn how bags react on the board with my throw and which grip feels best. So I integrated that into my practice and threw several different bags and tried several bags at switcholios. Fast bag throwers are probably 90% of players locally and it was hard for me to keep it on the board. But eventually I learned how to not be afraid of the fast side and now feel comfortable, most of the time, when someone hands me a Cat 3, Pro Sniper and/or Viper bag. Also, throwing home indoors is underated even if someone doesnt have the space to throw 27 feet. Its about taking those baby steps to develop a flat bag with mechanice then increase the distance little by little. Almost like Tetris, slow in the beginning then it progresses and gets harder after every level.
Great information !!! 🤯
I’m happy that I found you. I’m new to this wonderful game and have just begun to experience the mental side of cornhole. I’m a pretty relaxed person, discovering GH for me has been a pleasure. I have no problems putting myself out there. I don’t care what the world thinks, that being said, I do put pressure on myself because I want to be better. Better will come for me with time and game experiences. I will take something good from each loss and build on my game! I just need to be patient. I’m having so much fun, going to new places, meeting new people, experiencing new situations and shedding new skin with each one into a better version of me! One of the best motivational quotes comes from Stallone, “it’s not about how hard you can get hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and still keep moving forward”! I’m not a huge fan of him but that quote does live inside of me and I do thank him for it. Progress is progress, I don’t care how small it is. If progress was a penny on a public street with people around, would you pick it up? I would, pile a hundred of them together, you’ll have a dollar. To someone who has nothing, a dollar means something! Do it again and again and again. With enough time and effort things change. I’m that guy right now, new to the game and mentally broke. But each time before, during and after, I see change I’ll pick it up! Never Give Up, when you finally find something that brings you joy and distraction! Be Well, PS. I’m Mr. 459
You always have good content. Great meeting you in Houston last week.
You too!
Cornhole was the name of anal sex in the 60s-70s
Good video. As in most sports, the mental aspect is very important.
I need this more than you'll ever know
Wow, this needs to be a video everyone watches. Great great job!
Anyone take her class yet and have a review of it?
Great video! Thank you
Bernie shouldn't bother arguing with you about workings of the mind and emotion 😂
I really appreciate all of your information and I watch your cornhole mindset videos. My issue is that ive gone from a fast bag lob soft throw to a flat high rotation throw using vikings n such. Its a very different kind of throw. I feel changing my mechanics and such a large way has really set me back . I focus so much on mechanics and throwing the bag the way I feel that will make me a better player down the road but it's got me so in my head because it's so different. I've been throwing this way for a while I'm having some really hard ups and downs. I'm so in my head I feel like I'm not a good player and I just can't get out of the rut. I thank you for your vids. Im trying to drill into my head. I'm finding it really hard to stay in my body and find that moment and stay in it and believe in myself.
That makes total sense. When you’re in the learning phase you’ll be in your head, you’re supposed to be. The hard part is switching into automaton. And a lot of players get stuck in that transition. The goal is to learn how to easily navigate between learning and automation so you can always add different shots, changes, etc. Its no different then being at work all day and struggling to turn “work mode” off. We struggle with this in all areas of our lives. Getting in the body is not something our culture teaches us how to do. But Cornhole can be our great teacher. As cheesy as it sounds.
I love your mental tips. They are showing to be quite valuable for me. Like everyone else, I can’t stand kicking my own ass because my damn brain gets in the way. Thank you and keep em coming.
Gold. Shooting tonight and this subject and content was perfect ❤️💪🏽
Awesome advice! How does this not have more views or comments! Come on people!
listening to this will make me try a few sounds and see which one works best for me. Coming from a person who’s struggling on cornhole
Listened to a few of your videos….my game has improved…..mental game 💪🏽
What is a cornhole meech is that your name? Lol
Meesh is short for Michelle.
At the beginning of the match, I am definitely more in the hyper. If I am winning several matches, I go into the hypo. I’ve listened to several of your videos and want to thank you. This helps put me on a better mindset during my matches. Several of your techniques have worked a couple have not worked so well for me. This is the great thing about learning you take what works for you and put the rest to the side. Because what does not work today may work late on.
Cornhole is a mental game, and when in tournaments? After the 4 or 5th game? I get fatigued and tired. Should I start to drink coffee or something?
What would work better than coffee would be deep rest. If you can sneak away for 5 min and close your eyes and focus on your breathing you can rejuvenate your body in a healthy and productive way.
It's better to see you
To me being in the zone is when I have the least amount of thoughts in my head. Focus on the hole and 1 bag at a time. Dont worry about past shots and dont think ahead to future shots.
Thank you, you'r great! This is the hardest part for most of us
She's the cornhole shrink !
DID SHE GET THIS INFO. IN BAND CAMP?
Great advice!
❤love this podcast
Omg such a great explanation.I struggle with consistency and question why I don’t get the results.thank you
Good stuff!
So true, hit the nail on the head.
You are right on the money, I can burn up the boards one week and completely implode the next several weeks. I get in my head and totally screw my game up. Can’t seem to get past this point in playing. I don’t do this with anything else in my life regardless of how stressful the situation is.
I feel you there! It's interesting how something is brought in our life to help us level up and grow!
Do you think a good topic would be "slumps". I think a lot of slumps are just the odds working out, but mentally, we think "I should be winning". But if I'm playing a good player in a close game, there are probably ten 50/50 shots. A slump could be hitting 3 of the 10. The next game or tourney, it evens out and you are "hot". But really, there was no slump or streak. I think there are a lot of mental bits to bot the streaks and the slumps.
Oooo good one, I will put this on the list :)
@@cornholemeesh Lance has a great idea there! We call it getting off the struggle bus!
Great points! I have confidence issues both with cornhole and business for no reasons at all. Getting better with it and starting to slay my opponents who destroyed me my first three months of cornhole.
I don't think most people are taught about confidence right? So eventually we have to figure it out on our own.
I am enjoying your videos. The only distraction is when you are looking to the side to read your notes. If you put your camera in front of your notes it will feel more personal to the viewer. I look forward to more confidence boosting videos. Thank you.
Hey there Rhonda! No notes actually, just recording on two devices at once. One for RUclips and one for TikTok 👊
great video, just saw this on youtube while sitting in my room at Bagmania, I'll definitely share these videos with my Cornhole family.
Thank you!
