The Rutland County RC Flyers enjoy model aviation at one of New England's premier flying sites: the old Fair Haven Municipal Airport, in Fair Haven, VT.

Here's club pilot John Burgart's beautiful ARS 300 from SkyWing. We love the color scheme, but REALLY love the way John maneuvers his craft all around the Fair Haven airspace. John's ARS 300 was filmed during our 2024 Fun Fly and Fair Haven Municipal Airport, in Fair Haven, VT. If you enjoy RC, you'll love the setup at our home field.

Large scale Japanese Zero

Here's club Prez Murph with his stunning large-scale model of a Japanese Zero. This is definitely one case where the plane flies amazingly well, and has the looks to match. Like most of our aircraft, though, she just doesn't want to slow down enough to land. Until she runs out of gas, that is!

This is club pilot Jim Rotondo's latest addition to his hangar...a beautiful Mitchell B-25J from Motion RC. Club test pilot Brian Reed is at the controls as the team adjusts trim and takes it around the pattern a few times. Nice flight!
Phils Jet Final Flight

We understand that this was Phil's Jet's "last" flight...at least with Phil as its owner. Phil has a new F-14 and many of the parts from this jet are about to find a new home, soon. We are happy to present this flight, taken in 4K. Enjoy!

Listen carefully to this video. Oh, OK, you can listen while you watch, LOL! Club pilot Brian Reed skillfully pilots his beautiful Edge 540X over our Fair Haven airfield on an awesome summerlike afternoon. One thing we can say about Brian's flying...it's S-M-O-O-T-H! And about the sound, you can clearly hear the 540X prop biting through the air as Brian descends on final. Very cool!

Taking a video of an Avanti doesn't require any warm-up stretching or special exercises. Why? Because an Avanti sucks up battery power faster most anything else on the planet! Enjoy!

What a great model of a classic aircraft: the Beechcraft D18. The original full-scale aircraft came out just before WWII, and the aircraft was produced by Beechcraft until 1969 because demand for it remained high. The model features counter-rotating props, and is true to the original in appearance.
Drop Your Pants!

Wheel pants, that is! First, the left wheel pant drops off during takeoff, with the right wheel pant following suit just before landing. Steve, get a belt for this thing and keep those pants up! Other that the above, it was a great flight for the Tiger 30cc...what a flier!
L-19 Encore

Captain Phil Camp is really getting the 'hang' of his "gigundo-scale" Cessna L-19 (aka the Bird Dog). He's got that scale takeoff, flying, and landing down pat. If you had just arrived at our airfield, you might mistake this aircraft for the real thing! Then again, she's a tad over 1/3 scale.
