Matanikau Patrol - Milsim Event
The Matanikau River of Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, is located in the northwest part of the island. It runs from South West to North East through various terrain. In the South there are many hills densely forested and to the North it begins to plateau towards the coastline. Ferocious battles ensued between Allied and Japanese forces over Edson’s Ridge and Henderson Field resulting in Japanese forces retreating back into the Jungle.

Thanks I live in America its kids hard to find ww2 reenactments only if your in the south or the middle part of the Midwest region I'm in the south UT up north like Ohio were they had the worlds biggest ww2 event over 4'000 reenactments for a world record and south Dakota or Montana and Illinois thanks for letting me know

Where did yall get your gear. I can never find any Japanese reproduction stuff let alone actual surplus. Also what guns did you guys use.
Hello, all the Japanese gear and uniform are from Hikishop website. The Japanese airsoft weapons that we used was Type 38, Type 38 Carbine, Type 96. We did use Lee Enfield too. I was the Officer and I used C96, Type 14 Nambu and Katana (sword) hope you enjoyed the video!
