Did you find this car in southern Oregon ? Was it factory bronze or gold ? Did it have red painted spots in places? No body damage or serious rust, and it was very clean not cut up or modified? Along with all or most of the factory trim, grille, hood, rally wheels, and it had beautiful factory tinted glass ? If so let me know. I sold one like that same year to a guy who was buying it for his son back in I think 1999 or 2000 ? You have awesome ride man. I hope that you still have it and you are enjoying it.

Having your rollbar welded onto your wheel-wells aren't going to do you any good. Since you took the time to build a rollbar, you need to weld the bottom posts into the frame. The bar behind the seats looks like they are in the frame. The rest of the bars need the same effort if they are to be fully functional and keep that beautiful 69 straight. Besides, with the power that motor is producing, you need the extra rigidity a proper rollbar will give you. I speak from experience. I have a 67 El Camino with a full rollbar and 4-link. It does take more time to weld them in correctly, but when you find yourself "wheels up," you'll be glad you took the extra time to do it right. Do you still have the car?

To all of you haters and critics. The title of this video does say test run. Maybe it's a fresh build which needs to be broke in. Not broken. Any engine, even in stock form, needs a break in period. Only a complete idiot would go full throttle on a fresh build.
You got that right!!! Break them in, not apart. I just finished a 355 c.i. in a 78 Z28. Got 1500 miles on the whole car. Ran a 10.32 quarter mile

@@traceanthony3588 Damn I forgot I ever posted this and No in a sense it's not. A Blower is that typically Large typically 3 hole scoop that sits atop the Supercharger with a Carb on the inside that acts as an Air ram... This Elco doesn't have a ram, it's just 2 Carbs sitting out... Now sure those 2 joints under the Carbs SUCK IN the air, they don't RAM in the air like a Blower, triple or single style blower.
