Спасибо за прекрасное видео!
Patty must have been a hellcat in her day
Love this
The 'Queen without a King, they say she plays guitar, and cries and sings' is Joni Mitchell.
they are great together.
I love this song yeaaaaaahhh🏍💀🛠🤘🏻
Beautiful performance, he's completely in the moment. But some vodka-swillin fuckstick always has to yell whoooo right in the middle of it.
Makes me want to buy a washboard.. But I damn well know the wife will make me wash something if I do..
There's great bands, and then there's FUCKING great bands. These are a fucking great band.
With a wink & a smile, his "Going to Texarkana..." line is pretty hilarious.
I love the amazing looks they give each other...such an appropriate song
HOLD THE PHONE THE RIGHT WAY, IT'S ROBERT FUCKING PLANT!!!!
Damn, not fair! They need to do more nights!
Oh my god I went to last night's show!!! Totally mind blowing and amazing!! So good!!
i wish i was aware of these guys to catch shows from this time.
Damn' good.
God what an embarassment that Pat Green is on that stage
boy do i feel old
Farley, you amaze me every show
Todd seems to be channeling Ray Wylie here...
@ZABlue26 or singing with them..... it's not the same without him.
Todd Snider and JJ Walker...hill country legends
it's nice to hear the writers voice behind this song, and a great little story of how he wrote it :)
He used to come and play every year. One time, I beat HIM to lala-land. Embarassing as all heck. LOL
Now THAT is some memory. JJW must be made of steel. Lucky you, to have caught that show. What a story! I can't wait to get buy book !
going to them for 1st time oct. 3 in austin. cant wait \m/-_-\m/
driving up to new york in april to see them cant fucking wait
there is always some idiot trying to talk over the music... damn dance halls! I love Gruene though and Rodney has become one of my favoites!
The WashBoard Dancer is SIIIICKKKKK!!
i was at that show too... i met farley also (washboard)... i was kinda nervous for conor following these guys, but he found a way to match it (4 stage dives during one song)... good time though!
i'm guessing aus10tex, atxnative and whitelycra have a chip on their shoulders about aggies 'cause they have work for one. regardless, rek singing merry xmas from the family is good stuff. even better seeing him do so in my hometown. good stuff.
The "only" cool aggy!
I saw these guys the other night with Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. They rocked the house! As soon as their set was over I bought all of their merch that I could afford. Even met the violinist/washboard player. Cool bunch of dudes and the CDs are amazing.
saw them last night in lancaster...it was off the hook
how can a washboard be out of tune?
Nah it's in tune
and what town would that be? They played the Philadelphia Folk Fest this year, they had some good sets there.
He's not from Austin. Originally from Oregon, now he lives in East Nashville, but he's been all around this great big world singing song for tips and beers (mostly beers).
It was great, wasn't it? :^)
they sound really tight...
amazing. i've never commented on videos on youtube until seeing felice brothers. just awesome band. can't wait to see them live in a week
Were they good? Actually that's a stupid question.
the felice brothers are the best
but still sounds great
well done mates
this song is the best off the album. . . .
this song is the best off the album. . . .
You really a felice?
fuck, I wish I could have seen them. damn 21+ rules....bullllsshhiiitt
I was there and they were fucking great!!!!!!!!!
Todd is awesome! Amazing songwriter, great character. Check him out on RUclips. Some of the videos are bad-looking, but there is an awesome story he tells about him and Garth Brooks.
I heard them play this song at Stubbs a month ago and have been dying to hear it again. does anybody know where I can find it or what the name is?
This reminds me of Trent University, where J.J. played solo on a stool in a place that held maybe 60 people. The deal was you paid 3 bucks, and he played until Mr. Daniels had had his way with him. He drank the stuff by the water tumbler hour after hour. By about 2 am he would go to sleep (onstage) and we all went home. The man produced pure magic. What a song writer, i have never heard "A little bird sat upon my window sill" in a concert.
