My mother used to tell me stories about huckleberry picking inn the hills of Pennsylvania…. She and a few brothers and sisters would.spend the day, filling their pails with berries. They had fun, but it was also hard work. Of course their reward was huckleberry pie. God be with you, so beautiful.

@@steintagedomaas I just happen to see this looking from your lovely Christmas tree 🎄..I think that's a wonderful description of "breakwater"... I grew up alongside the Chesapeake Bay...protecting us from the Atlantic. In school.... outdoor school of life, I learned early on terms like breakwater, jetty, tidal pools...I can close my eyes and hear the waves coming in...going out...can smell the black tar on the jetty's. Beautiful memories of another time gone by...🙂
