Remember what happened to game of thrones though, it ran for almost a decade, it was a phenomenon, it was one of the most popular shows in the world at the time. And it all crumbled to nothing, no one talks about it, no one remembers it. So the possibility it could fade into nothing is there, but I don't believe it will.

I did try to Watch OP but it was so fk goofy when somebody died it was like 🤷🏽♀️ bc the whole Show is just fk goofy. And the World Building is weird. So all People know there are These fruits that gives you superpowers but nobody searches for them 😵💫 would you Go and search for something that litterly gives you superpowers? Yes. Me too. But only some random People have them 😵💫
They built it up so much, imagine the ending isn't what if the ending isn't that great and its just going to be "The One Piece is all the friends you made along the way" lol
Oda, the author of One Piece, said that the One Piece is something tangible and not something like "the friends we made along the way" which is a huge relief.
Considering how much they bullshit about "nakama" i would not be surprised. "Since the One Piece is located in the middle of an oceanic hell hole means you HAVE TO be surrounded by talented and very powerful homies that ride or die for you in order to reach it."
