@@deedaqwndawn in genuine honesty, I was fooled into buying it based off the trailers and sprung for the pre release version, I’ve experienced game breaking glitches, terrible AI mapping, an interesting but terribly executed story and repetitive gameplay that’s barely broken up by the randomization of the game world. Genuinely not excited for South of Midnight not because of the story, but because of the studio. I’m terrified it’ll be another $30-$50 game I’ll buy and than be utterly disappointed with. Might buy it solely cause of the catfish though

I never said anyone else won't buy it for this game I said I'm unsure I WOULD. Me wanting an Xbox is mainly because I can play older games and get Xbox game pass. I'm not against VR lol it's just not my favorite gaming option out of a switch, xbox, playStation or even a PC it's just my opinion 😭 And I've played my siblings VR a few times im not against it it's just not my favorite which it's ok because it's my opinion once again 😭

Gamepass is on pc as well, you don't need an Xbox for that, don't waste your money. Plus, there's an Xbox app for streaming on the Q3 if you want it that bad to play flat games. What vr games did you play? I'm not saying you're not entitled to your own opinion. I just said I don't think you gave vr a fair shot, because no one I demoed vr over the years (which was close to a 100 people) would prefer any console after that. Maybe you played the wrong games, and/or with a closed mindset.

@@gyorgyboszormenyi9078 I can say I didn't play the VR for more than 10 hours yeah but I'm not saying I won't ever get it. As for the games I played...Beat Saber, a cooking simulator, a murder mystery online game, played games my siblings already brought. One game Im looking forward to is that new alien VR game that looks terrifying and fun so I'm definitely playing that since I love horror. I'm not against VR I'm just not a massive fan but obviously that can change and I hope to one day become a fan currently I'm just like a casual VR player 😊

@@deedaqwndawn Yeah, so that's nothing. Those are level 1 stationary games, you didn't even get into the motion sickness territory, where the FEELS are. I don't know the genres you're into, but just the top of my head, if it's adventure/puzzle you should check The 7th Guest, Red Matter 2, Half-Life: Alyx, Boneworks (with a pc) ,if it's action then this developer's Marvel's Iron-Man VR, Resident Evil 4 VR, Resist, Bonelab, if it's fantasy action then Assassin's Creed Nexus, Asgard's Wrath 2, In Death: Unchained, Dungeons Of Eternity, Blade & Sorcery, Swordsman or Gorn, if it's stealth then Phantom: Covert Ops, Jurassic World Aftermath, if it's simulator then Mudrunner VR, if it's something chill Walkabout Mini Golf, The Climb or Demeo. Check on them here on yt if you like, but remember, a 2D video just scratches the surface of a vr game, cannot convey the feels. So some of these gives you the feeling of webswinging, flying like Iron Man, to be in micro-gravity, to be another body type, this is the magic of vr you cannot get anywhere else. Oh, and good choice, but Alien: RI is also exclusive to Quest 3...

@@gyorgyboszormenyi9078 I wouldn't say the games I played were nothing lol I enjoyed them for the most part I just don't play them often and not every wants to play games that give them motion sickness lol. Some people just play VR games that give them a workout like beat saber which is fine also. Everyone game differently, Everyone don't have the same taste in games, not everyone into console games, not everyone is into PC games and etc. Thanks for the list of vr games to one day check out btw

The thing is I'm not upset or anything at gamers who aren't into this game. I saw a lot of comments during the Xbox showcase livestream of people saying things like "NEXT" or "TRASH" even before the gameplay was showed which made me think people definitely was hating cause it's a woman protagonist and the color of her skin. I like that it's a lot of us like you and me who is for original games and will give them a try without bashing pre release.

@deedaqwndawn This one looks like all kinds of fun. I'm a story guy. So if it has a story I can get into, especially with a great setting, count me in.

@MorrowworroM614 in regards to the art style/animation, it's reminiscent of the Spider-Verse movies, which grossed 384 million (Into) and 690 million (Across) worldwide. So one could argue that it definitely isn't a look that's considered mid or bad at least from a global media viewpoint. What about the character design, tho?
