Her natural talking voice has allot of vibrato to it. Unfortunately it’s because of the dialect she has which is comparable to A United States Slow country accent which carries over into her singing in Korean and English because they are not her native languages and she has to cross that barrier of a strong accent. Learning how to pronounce words in the languages which is even harder and then applying that to singing which is even harder than simply learning and maintaining correct pronunciation. And that’s all while keeping a full schedule. She hardly has time to completely change something that has been apart of her for 20+ years. It’s a bit sad that she spoke and sang in Japanese in a deep accent/dialect her entire life and is now expected to sound completely different🙁 it feels like an unrealistic expectation. Her voice is just not suited for singing in Korean

agree with you. i've always noticed her voice is always heavily autotuned in every songs unlike the vocalists which can be heard loud and clear. i just hope her current label would find the best teacher and find a specific method to train her vocal rather than forcing to apply the other girls' routine on her voice since her talking voice is already shaky to begin with.

Every improvement should be congratulated cause it was made with hard work And sometimes the trainee system isn’t the most appropriate for some idols so yeah, she should get congratulated

She really hasn't been trained until very recently when she joined HYBE. And even then it's questionable whether or not it has been competent training. Cut her a bit of slack on this front.
