It turned out pretty good. I’ve got a sycamore tree that I tried to leave on the pond dam, but its roots have grown into the pond and caused a leak.
how'd the pond dig finish out? Im thinking of enlarging my pond.
Nice machine!
I enjoyed your video. I think you would enjoy some my attachments and innovations for the U25/U27 series and other mini excavators like this Root Ripper attachment shown here. I've used it on everything from stone walls to 30" diameter trunks. Stone walls: ruclips.net/user/shortsJfgbEmQdQAM?feature=share Tree trunks: ruclips.net/user/shortsXLte2kSDG-c?feature=share
Nice job about to do my brakes on my enclose trailer
What happen the the roots. Looks like they were previously cut off
don't forget to repack those used bearings prior to reassembly.
Good video! what size of bucket you have on your excavator?
It is an 18” bucket
How many hours do you got on that thing?
Does the thumb hit the hoses when you open all the way?
Yes it pushes them to the side on mine
Any reason you choose this model over John Deere or any other model?
Do you think it possible to install septic systems with this machine
It could do that for sure. Mine has an 18” bucket but you could put a 24” on it to. It will also run a rock hammer if you needed one
Do you regret not getting a size bigger machine?
There’s always that need for a bigger machine. You just have to compare price to the time it will take you to complete a task. It’s a good machine for what I use it for.
Do you know the lifting capacity of the machine?
@@thomasmartinez3085 I don’t know the lifting capacity off hand but you can find that on kubotas website I’m sure
FIND THE END OF THE STUMP ROOTS / THEN WORK WAY BACK TO THE STUMP / BE EZ AS PIE DIG OUT THE STUMP
good field job
How much weight can the U27-4 lidt with the thumb claw? Looking at an excavator to eventually do firewood with. Is a lot easier to have theog up in the air a little to cut and drip the rounds into a pile than buck on the ground, toss into a pile, etc.
The manual says it will lift 1500lbs if the arm is 8 feet out and lifting about 4 feet off the ground. I can tell you that it will pick up some decent sized logs for cutting firewood. Makes it nice not bending over or getting your saw in the dirt!
@@flinthillacres3009, too bad this this. unit new costs like $40k. Too bad the Harbor Freight trencher can't lift like this one can. Will be saving up for a good long while to afford one of these.
@@thefirewooddoctor it all comes in good time! It also helps if you can get the machine to work and pay for itself. You’d be amazed at the amount work that will appear when people know you have it.
@@flinthillacres3009, but am paying cash as I go for things. That way the bank can't take it back if I get injured and can't work the regular job. One day I'll get one.
Alright, now that rock pile where you put it move it over there. Yay rocks!
Gotta love them rocks!
