if only i could just download this for free
the music was a highlight
Is this seemless? Thanks
thanks for showing me microscopic nodes flying by at warp speed, great tutorial
Dude please continue making tutorials.
Great tutorial man, thank you very much
Why do you use such specific decimal values? Is there any mathematical reason for it or is it because you're recreating a graph you already had made?
"Kali ma... Kali ma... Kali ma, shakthi deh!"
How the hell is this a tutorial, you go through everything on light speed without explaining anything, bruh Name your videos correctly.
This is not a tutorial, but a quick way to create a texture without explaining what's going on. It is not clear who this video is for, except perhaps for the author. For everyone else, it is completely meaningless.
Fr he calls it a tutorial but for a newbie in 3D designer like me it was like a kaleidoscope spinning on light speed. Didn't understand anything.
Certainly not a tutorial for absolute beginners, but if you're just starting out and you've gotten past the "how do I navigate 3d art softwares" then it's fine. My only gripe is that Im having to pause and scrub through this frame-by-frame to actually see what's going on because it's a 40 minute video compressed into 15 minutes lol.
there's so many of these stupid sped up videos called "tutorials" related to substance designer. It's really frustrating. What's the point of speeding it up, we can fast forward if it's too slow... having to pause so much is so annoying
@@moonasha change the playback speed bahahaha
Genuinely one of the best learning resources for SD I've found online. Thanks heaps
Hey man, Great work! It would be so helpful if you can upload non speed up version of these maybe on gumroad or something?
you can change the speed of the video
Excuse me,how can I obtain the EZ Splatter node in your video for 4:58.
is EZSplatter a custom node or is it, yet, another removed Ds node?
Unfortunately, it was free node in Substance Share which shutown after Adobe acquired Substance. I tried to find it but no luck! You can e-mail me, there is an alternative that I can send.
@@DenizGiritliArt Not to worry, I was able to replicate the same effect with the generic splatter node. Thanks!
This isn't a tutorial. It's a time lapse. Tutorials have explanations.
Fair point! I'll rename any upcoming ones accordingly.
That is some high quality stuff!
Hi! In today's version I can't seem to find the Dirt, Dust and Metal Edge Wear nodes with the normal, ao or curvature inputs. Its says Mesh Data but I don't really understand what to do. Do you know a way? Thanks! :)
I've been using latest for a while and I didnt realize such a change. It might be because when you pull the node out of Normal or Curvature, it gives you nodes that only works with those type of inputs and may be thats why it wasnt showing Dirt or Dust. So if you can try just hitting a space bar in plain area and search for Dirt and Dust you might have it. If it still doesnt work, I suggest opening the library window from; Windows-Library and from there if you click on "Mesh Based Generators" you should be able to see the Dirt, Dust and bunch more nodes and you can just click and drag it to your graph. If none of the above works for you, you can send me an email with some screenshots, may be I can help!
Thanks for answering, I finally found out it was because the Link Creation Mode was set to Compact Material which compacts the inputs to just one input named Mesh Data. The buttons 1,2 and 3 toggle this so it's easy to change it without knowing. So it was my bad😅
All good 😁 I didnt think that would be the issue actually but I am glad it was an easy fix!
So helpful in learning how to create bricks this way many clever tricks! Great video! ^^
Thank you!
an actual tut would be nice
This is great, thanks you!
Thank you!
Hello, nice tutorial ! Where can I find the generator cracks ?
Hello Evian The Bottle! You can access the crack generator from my Patreon for free. Link in my bio and if you have any issues, dont hesitate to contact me!
@@DenizGiritliArt Thanks a lot !
how do you get the EZ splatter node
Its an old node that I got from Substance Source. I dont own it so I cant distribute it, however, there a node called "Splatter" within Designer where you can get similar results with similar inputs.
Incredible, thanks!
Thank you!
Hello im a student and I would like to follow the tutorial, but at 1:39 you are usinga crack generator, so is it not possible to follow this tutorial without this?
Hello! You can use, cells 2 (invert on, edge wirdh 0) and add a directional warp with amount of 5 with perlin noise around 12 plugged in. If you would like to add noise, you can add slope blur node with clouds 2 (sample 32, intensity probably around 0.5) should do it. I'm also happy to provide you the Crack Generator node if the method above doesnt work. You can send me an e-mail from denizgiritliart@gmail.com
I am just blown away
Thank you!
very cool videos, keep the good work
Thank you!
Well it's not a tutorial actually :) it's called timelapse!
I've setted 0.25 and jusr repeat the nodes. Maybe it's not a tut, but doing the same thing - teaching
Thank you very much for this video sir
helal reis
Thank you!
at 6:56 to get a better edge mask you should divide old blend with new blend so it will show all the change in pixels. dividing histogram range with old blend is sort of unreliable in some cases.
Just tried it and it's actually pretty good technique, thank you so much!
at 6:48 it was a nice technique
Thank you!
The best forzen lake material!
Thank you so much!
I somehow can't find your other comment to respond, so if you're still having issues opening up the file please e-mail me or hop onto discord so we can solve it. I remember freezing my gumroad while ago, may be that is the reason it's not working.

why there aren´t a full tutorial of DS, i mean, i cant figure out how the software works if the tutorial starts with 20 pre nodes in the screen, i don get it
Hi Matias! I understand your frustration. Those nodes are outputs and basic control nodes that I setup so that I can use in future projects to save time. Its called DeGi - Game Template and you can get it for free and use it for for projects as well. If you think its complicated, you can just use Base Material Node with activated User Defined Maps to plug in what you create and if you right click on the Base Material Node, select Create and Output Nodes (say no for the pop up for unused nodes) you will have almost the same nodes.
@@DenizGiritliArt sorry if my message was a bit disgusting, I downloaded the software yesterday and I can't even make a single texture without the Adobe documentation, I'm just frustrated, but it's not you fault if I don't have the enough grey matter to understand it, hahaha thank you for the advice I will keep practicing
@@DenizGiritliArt also today I was following a tutorial series from adobe and I create a new graph in the same package, when I came back to my initial graph it was buggy and appear a message like: "not output node found" or something like that, when before I was working perfectly and the texture stop appearing in the 3D visualisation, I just closed the software and I'm still angry
@@matiastemesio893 Oh that's unfortunate. As long as you still have the nodes you should be able to save it. You can try right clicking and selecting show output nodes in 3D view. If nothing happens you might need to create outputs. If you're still having the same issue let me know, you can hop into my discord channel and we can troubleshoot it.
@@DenizGiritliArt oh really? it would be really helpful, if i have some other problem i will contact you for sure.
Great job!
Thank you!
