Very insightful content, thank you for posting
Very helpful ❤
Ahhh
Excelente explicação. Boas imagens e vídeos, muito boa didática. Obrigado.
Very informative
It's shocking to see how little we know about memory. Videos like this are important pioneering steps towards understanding.

Hey Martin Thanks for excellent sharing. I wanna ask you something : Can a neuron's generated action potential be restructured which got used to respond to a certain current? or Can a neuron's generated action potential be restructured for different currents?
thank you!!!!
how i wish you are my lecturer!!!!! thank you sir
Very good presentation👍👍
Is it possible for you to go over your book? Im taking biopsychology right now and we are using your book and I’m really struggling 😢
Hello Mikhaela, Where are you taking a course where they are using my textbook? I am sorry that you are struggling. An introduction to neuroscience can be difficult. I have 30-40 minute screen-capture lectures that cover a lot of the material from each chapter on my youtube channel. Is there something that is particularly difficult for you or a topic. I might already have a video.
hi! is it possible for you to make youtube playlist about this?
What is a good definition of arousal? Is the activation of energy synapse firing (of electro-chemical potentials) or excitation and inhinbition? And can it apply to both visceral (peripheral nervous) as well as brainstem (central nervous)?
And this video is the best video on arousal that I have seen for psychology. Thank you for your work.
Thank you very much
Hi. I am a first year psychology student and am really interested in Biopsychology. Where can I find a job that will expose me to the field as I pursue my degree?
Hi! Psychology PhD student here. I encourage you to get involved in undergraduate research in a psychology lab at your school. Look online at faculty in your department and reach out to those who have research that is of interest to you. More than likely they will be happy to allow you to work as a research assistant in their lab throughout your undergraduate career. This will be a great way to explore your interests and prepare for future work in the field :)

Addiction Is a myth created by the government and the government and the pharmaceutical industry. If you look around %100 of the world population has some type of addiction. Sex,drugs ,money, rock and roll , food ,power, narcissistic vampirism, the list fucking endless . Where is the war cry against obesity and the health problems associated with an all you can eat buffet? Compared to the drug problem In the world gluttony has claimed 10 x the victims of early death and chronic disease
This was excellent.
I’m thinking about getting my masters in bio psychology but I’m not sure what the job outlook is…
There are a few paths of master's degrees in biopsychology and experimental psychology. First, many who get their master's degree are thinking about going on to a Ph.D. in experimental psychology or neuroscience with hopes of getting a job as a professor at a college. Second, people who get master's degrees in experimental psychology tend to get a lot of experience collecting and evaluating data. Many of our master's students go on to get jobs in data analysis working for a nonprofit, school system, or a for-profit business. Third, there are applied programs in neuroscience such as rehabilitation counseling working with people who have had strokes or brain injury. With a master's degree, you are able to get jobs as lecturers and four-year colleges and tenure-track positions at community colleges (though these positions often go to people with Ph.D.s). I hope that helped.
Thank you for this amazing lecture!!! Saved me from a boring reading , and was super easy to understand. What a talented teacher❤️🔥
I think they both seemed confused lol :/ but my eyes picked up the sad part of the face both times...
I would say that deepends on dominant eye..
9-years later and females are still leading in tattooing
you can also use Ds as a reference : ruclips.net/video/NqCn4Scnr5I/видео.html
I still can't get about the myth #2
veri interesting
On the facial picture I didnt feel either were happy or sad. They felt sad to me. But when you mentioned what the experiment was I went back and thought the top one(first one) was happy. Probably biased. Not sure what that would mean.
There is often a great deal of variability in these kinds of perception tests, so I would imagine that you are not the only one that does not see a difference, or felt the same emotion from both. There is also a lot of variability in lateralization. Your emotional perception might be more equally distributed than others.
Would the undergrad neuroscience courses be considered the "next level" of the biopsychology course at Fresno State?
It really depends on the University. In a psychology department, the next level courses after biopsychology are called psychophysiology, cognitive neuroscience or more specific topics like behavioral endocrinology or clinical neuroscience. In a biology department, it might be a course on neuroanatomy or neurophysiology or just a course called neuroscience.
Just the explanation I needed. Thank you!!!
Can you plz suggest which app or site you hve used to explain the following reactions ?
I creating this in PowerPoint with animations and then used Camtasia to screen capture and narrate the reaction.
Who else is here bc your early college professor sent us the link and we have to do a summary about it 😂
Who sent you the link?
This is really great!! Thank you 😊
Glad you liked it. Thanks.
Great Lecture !! Thank you so much
Thank you for this presentation and elucidation the evil affect such substances have on humanity of the victim. Often we blur the suffering and disease of addiction through the hedonistic perspective. Amazing presentation thank you professor.
It is very easy to understand, one of the best videos I came across on this topic. Every process is explained in detailed and at a clear level. Thank you so much <3
I had to stop and go get lunch during this lecture! I felt like I could smell the food that was presented on the slides! Ahhh food!
