Full run at the end of a 4 hour rehearsal before Prelims. We didn't do a full out run through on Semis or Finals, but we finished out the weekend very strong!

Home stadium run through before DCI San Antonio
woahh dci headcams are so cool, how hard is baritone? im starting self teaching on it next week so i can do dci when i get old enough
what are your thoughts on the 825 bari?
Dork
If I marched Boston we’d be the same person just from the shear amount of field vocals you use
Fantastic. Truly. Congrats. Great playing. Just found this. And thanks for the view of the run through the rings. Very cool.
“Ashes, ashes, we all have crabs”
What an age out. Cant wait to continue this new legacy boston has going!
Freaky green!
Hello, any tips on articulating and switching between partials easier?amazing player btw!
Oh and any tips on buzzing consistently, thanks!
Using the half valve technique has always been helpful towards me, then for articulated passages I would try doing them slurred to get used to the airflow. Add the tongue back in but make sure you keep the airflow the exact same
best low brass in DCI
Nobody’s low brass was on y’all’s level when I heard you guys. Such a beautiful baritone/tuba sound
Thank you!
Bro I wanna march dci as soon as I graduate
Go for it!!
@@ryanornelas786 I will🙏🙏
That baritone section sounded so solid and perfect in person!!
Thank you!
Bro is actually the main character
🤣
Fabulous!
Thank you!
Do you guys use tuning slides?
We used the mark system with the tuning slides
@@ryanornelas786damn y’all be marking time on your tuning slides
I love Ryan Ornelas
RYYYYYYAAAAANNNNN

we all have crabs
FEIN FEIN FEIN
YES BRO
I love it at 6:38 make me smile every time
Gotta love Take 5 😁
Yall should've won brass imo, not hate to the coats but their horn line was amplified like crazy.
It’s definitely some tough competition! Well deserved for them
Ryan, you have proven yourself to have unbelievable talent on the baritone. So glad you marched with the Crusaders. May you continue to show your musical skills in the years ahead. Thank You.
Thank you so much!
dude you're insane soloist 4 years in a row is crazy
Ben Gunnarson type shit
Thank you!
i still need to give u ur mouthpiece back bro (yk who this is LMAO)
What mouthpieces do you all use?
Looks and sounds like the standard schlike 51D to me, I'm probably wrong
Lead baris used a Yamaha 51 L or 51 DL.
@@ryanornelas786 I thought it looked a little funny for a schlike lol. Edit: I'm also looking at joining a drum Corp sometime soon but I'm afraid I'm too young. Can you fill me in on what it is like to audition and stuff? Also no drum corps are anywhere close to where I live
@@ryanornelas786 thank you so much!
@@Themaestro124auditions will usually consist of a playing excerpt of your choice (so choose something that shows your strengths), and some excerpts chosen by the corps. Visually you’ll do some basic marching drill like box drill or across the floors, and some corps have some dance auditions too, so depending on how comfy you are with those I would recommend some lessons 😂
I saw you guys in Little Rock and absolutely loved the show! Great job this season
Thank you!
You’ve now been milked dry by the brass staff, now it’s time for Andy to be milked. And that trumpet ballad hit 😬
8:45 im sorry but where the fuck did that apple come from 😭
8:10
Not the muscle milk vocal!!😭😂
Bro , how can you even focus wkth all those hot babes around you?
LOVED this show!!❤
I would also fall out of my chair if you replied to my comment because I fell in love with this solo last year when I saw the show❤
Don’t fall too hard now 😂
Oh my god
5:09 got me dead 💀
hey, I play baritone too (I am bad) ! I was wondering why do you keep your thumb in that spot compared to under the same tube between the first and second valve? All of my prior instructors would get on me for putting my thumb where you put it but you seem to still have a good C shape in your other fingers so I guess it wouldn’t really matter?
Yeah man, it isn’t a huge difference as long as you can maintain a good hand shape and don’t mess up your playing. I have a bad wrist, so having my thumb there helps me a little more. If your director really wants your thumb in a certain spot, I would listen to him though :)
lmao these timekeepers are crazy
I enjoyed watching you video. You all did great this season.
How’s that ankle
RRRRRRAARRRRRRD
I got to see y’all perform in Denton TX and I LOVED those performance! Y’all did AMAZONG
Much love from a percussionist… we gotta see that back cam footage 😂😂
Is that the mlb the show 23 companion app i saw?
Yessir!
9:25 is my favorite part
You sounded incredible in your solo man. Tone is fire
Your tone control all the way through was incredible. You sound awesome.
Say hi to Jack Monty for me, he was my High School drum major the first year we went to State
