I just came across this video. It's so helpful. Just curious as to the machine you're using. The walking foot looks smaller than most walking feet

well now I will try this again. After watching another video of a gal making a small pouch with 1 side of the zipper, I tried for one full day trying to get the zipper pull on and failed with 2 zippers. But that gal didn't cut any of the teeth off. So I will try again. I so wished I could do this for I LOVE the little pouches. Thank you for sharing this method @Lazy Girl Designs

Terrific tutorial series! Do you have suggestions for larger or smaller sizes? Seems like it would be fairly simple to change sizes given zipper sizes, yes?

love this idea. I have TONS! of zipper tape that I don't know what to do with. Scrap fabric and scrap batting all + Christmas gifts for friends and family as well as Srs at the SR CTR my mom goes to. I will prob figure out how to attach a tab to add a swivel. TFS! Subscribing right now.

love these. What length zipper do I need?

I purchased the pattern etc. from Joan a few years ago and never could quite "get" the zipper technique since I'm more of a a visual learner. I have more zippers and pull tabs than pills in a drug store! Reading manuals for software and data is okay....sewing, not so much LOL. Anyway Julie, well done! I've been sewing for around 50 years, can be grumpy when tutorials go on and on and on before getting to the point, and if their voice is like nails on a chalkboard, I can't listen. Your videos, your voice, and how you convey what we need to do plus your tips are perfect. PERFECT!!! Thank you so much for this series. Joan must be looking down and smiling. Now I can finally get going on these adorable little pouches....the possibilities are endless. Thank you!!! 😊

This turned out really cute. The size of the bag looks bigger then I thought it would be. I love it!

Just completed my first pod! It’s beautiful, if I do say so myself. One question: the lining is a bit larger than the outside. When I make bags, I usually cut the lining smaller. Would that work on this tiny project? Thank you for the wonderful videos.

I didn't have any ribbon in the right color, so I added a row of decorative stitching in metallic thread on my second pod.

Your videos are excellent. Perfect amount of detail. I didn't realize that I had fused foam to my fabric instead of fleece until I got to video 3, so it was more challenging to serge-finish the inside edges! And my pod has a lot of body! Looking forward to the embellishment tips tomorrow.
