    I had similar base line numbers on my 14 but your numbers after tune seem low. What were your intake temp numbers? <---- This will dramatically affect your end results and if the dyno shop is not pushing enough air through your heat exchangers you will not get the numbers you are hoping for. Example you can go drive the car hard heat soak the car and do a pull then drive around letting the car cool and then do a pull the amount of power you will feel will be significant. I think the shop did your dyno pull(s) on a heat soak car get better air flow across the heat exchangers.

    I can’t believe this video is so old. I hope you still have this RUclips account because I have a question. I say you were making like 16 lbs of boost at one time. I know the stock engine makes about 11 lbs of boost because I have an xts v sport. Did the new bovs give you that extra boost or do you have work done?

      Its late but I can answer this - they do not give "extra" boost. These are controlled by a solenoid that uses vacuum. What they can do is prevent leaky plastic stock units from bleeding pressure under boost and they tend to respond faster when commanded to open which improves shift feel.

    Those BOVs are backwards, did you ever correct the install? Got some to put on my vsport and they’re clearly made to vent pressure from the side with the O ring.

    Odd...I got bone stock vehicle, not even the km filter, and i got much closer to those numbers on the Dyno From English Racing...could be a dyno v dyno thing. I was using 93 OCT btw. I have a test/mix kit for testing. If you got 93 oct straight from pump chances are its not 93 oct and that would definitely lower your gains significantly.

      Also its more than just putting the car into track mode. You have to hit the traction button 3 times to enter race mode.

      I think the v-sport is better balances, in a straight line the v would win but I actually like my v-sport more than my corvette to drift and nicer than v’s in my opinion, slides and handles insane, also 0 to 60 in 4 1/2 seconds is still faster than most older v’s. Plenty of power

    I have a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sport with Corsa Exhaust ZZP Cold Air Intake and the Trifecta Tune.I like it.The tune definitely gives it a little more pep.With the ZZP you can here the turbos and now I can hear the blow off valve a little.But the tune is pricey!

    Did anything ever get done to change the detune on loss of traction, or is that a safety feature that won't be removed? Also, now that lots of time has passed, any issues to report with the vehicle? Tune related or otherwise? Thanks for the great vid!

      Josh Caine, thanks for the reply! As far as the loss of traction goes, nothing was done as far as I know. It helps limit the power to regain traction. Slipping ain’t winning. I’ve had the car tuned for a while. No issues related to the tune. However I did discover a major weakness. My mechanic says it’s rare. I was out one day running against mustangs and Camaros. My mistake was I didn’t allow for cool down between runs. What happened is my car went into limp mode and would not run more and more. With each start up as if it was out of timing. Found out I spun the reluctor on the back of the crank shaft. Responsible for timing. The whole engine was pulled and replaced the crank as well as turbos while he was at it for the waste gate update. All under warranty. Phew.. my friend is my mechanic and helped. Also suggested a spare ECU he flashed to stock to avoid issues w GM. A major job like this would prob require specs to be sent to GM. ECU was like $300. The tune is solid though. I think so far I’ve seen I’m the only one aside from one other case. Just allow cool down between runs. The heat build up is what spun it. It’s just pressed onto the back of the crank. I love my tune and continue to run it.

      Josh Caine I love mine. Best all around and sleeper. If you’re going for a comfortable, good looking car w tech it’s great. Handles amazing. I’ve impressed a lot of people going through some technical roads in the country. Had the car drifting around corners in a effort to keep up w my friends C7 supercharged vette. He was shocked I was on his heels. Of course he would pull away on the straight aways. But I’d catch him in the curves. Grip and control is better when on the gas. That e-diff works magic. Really turns the car and manages power great. My friend w his GTR was like what do you have AWD?! Lol Bottomline is this car delivers the smiles per gallon.

      Marc Bernard hey there. Trifecta emails you all the files into your account with them. You just select tune file you want to upload into the vehicle.

      juanito12361 they’re holding up pretty well no issues. I’ve heard several people report the oem plastic ones have failed and upgrade to these.

    Nice video Erick. So how long did it take for your shifts to smoothen out? Had the tune for a little over 2 weeks now and the harsh shifts are the only down side of it which I'm not happy about.

    Try w/ 100 octane. Just went to the track and put race gas in the tank. The tune *really* takes advantage of it.

    Great videos! You noted having the ATS-V intake from Renick Performance. I recently messaged them and they said their LF4 intake system was not compatible with the LF3. What altercations were required for LF3 fitment?

      Mason Pike Yeah when I asked they stated it could be possible to make it work but had not tried it. I came across one Bc my friend sold his ATS-V and sold it to me at a good price. It took minor modification. I had to trim the fan shroud behind the radiator to allow the Driver side tube to squeeze in. It also required the mounting arm on the same tube to be shortened or cut off. The heat shield is also able to fit but the plastic front engine cover will be slightly elevated unless trimmed around it.

    Really debating on buying the Trifecta tune but am nervous on voiding my warranty. I know they say it is undetectable, have you serviced your car after your tune has been installed?

      Yes a couple times. Had the exhaust replaced, a front shock absorber, and few other things. Its not noticeable I hear unless they go into a deep search. Say you blow up the engine for example. Then they might look into it further. Ive had no issues with my tune. I run my car hard almost every day. Its irresistible to not feel the boost pin me to my seat. lol

    Thanks for posting the video. Not too many new Vsport vids out right now. I got a stock 2014 Vsport & just recently added a Pedal Commander which made it into a Super Beast off the line. It doesn't add torque or horsepower but does allow massive increased in acceleration & it absolutely does not void any warranty. If anyone decides to get one, make sure you order the one for the CTS V...

To me, it certainly feels like it is shifting a bit quicker, it's just so hard to tell because off the line & under 50MPH acceleration is sooooo fast.       I second the performance of the pedal commander but after talking with a tuning pro, while the PC increases throttle it does not increase line pressure of the transmission to compensate with the added accelleration and the transmission is under alot more increased stress bc of that. The tuning tech said that the pedal commander will stress the trans alot harder and might result in a problem with the trans, so I uninstalled it. It def was amazing and accelleration was insane but a full tune would do the same plus calibrate the trans line pressure and everything else to work together plus add lots of HP on top. I do miss the hell out of it. Word of caution

    Ummmm.... what's the Trifecta car running for mods? If they have just aftermarket up and downpipes with a decent exhaust, that may explain the power difference. For a COMPLETELY stock car, those are mighty impressive numbers!!

      I dont know much about these particular cars (Im a V guy, but love turbo cars so no hate just my $0.02) perhaps depending on how the turbos are gated, it throws more boost at the engine? If Im way off base just lmk
