Thanks people for subscribing to my channel, that's just plain amazing. I haven't been active for a while and won't be very active any time soon. But when I once do again, I will upload some more covers and tabs.
Angeles - Elliott Smith cover

One of the best songs of my favourite singer&songwriter Elliott Smith.
Vocals are recorded separately to make it sound better. The original is played with a capo on 5th fret, but I play it with a capo on 3rd fret to match my vocal range. In live performances Elliott even plays it with a capo on 7th fret, 'cause he usually had his guitar tuned down a whole step for live performances.

@@TubMac Thanks man! I can't get the rhythm right on the high sections - I've must have tried literally a thousand times, it never has the same warm feeling yours does, it sounds broken. Lemme know if I can share a clip with you or something :)

This whole thing would make elliott proud. Always wanted to see someone who could do some of his more complex songs on one guitar. I was happy when I did it with Ripple by the Dead but this is another level. Thanks for the summer project.
you should post a video of you doing the full song this is by far the best version I've seen next to Elliott but I can't seem to find you playing the full song in all its glory lol... amazing tabs and video help... peace and love

dude, how do i get to this speed?
Start very slow, as soon as you start playing it clean, you speed up. With practise, you'll end up playing at such speed

Punkrock465 is right... count your frets in the video starting at the double dot 12th fret... you are capo'd on the 3rd fret here, not the 5th...
He most likely has his guitar tuned a full step down like elliot himself so capo is 2 frets down.

The capo is on the 5th fret. Anyway, I play it differently today than when I recorded this video. Maybe I will change tab in the future, if only I had time ;-)
