Minecraft | Far Lands
I had to create a world on Beta 1.7, edit player's position in level.dat file with this editor irath96.github.io/webNBT/ , and then open the world in Release 1.6.4 to reduce the lag.
Far Lands are insane. I always dreamed of reaching them, there is something special about them. They got fixed after Beta 1.7.3 and never returned to the game. In my opinion that's a wasted potential. Imagine how cool would it be to reach them one day and get an achievement...

I wrote this demo in C# using GDI graphics (System.Drawing) and Windows Forms. Instead of ray casting, I developed my own projection algorithm. It took me almost a month to make it work and fix bugs.

    Now THIS is what I love to see!! I do like how the HECU adds feel and other things to the story, but to be truthful, I never could stand seeing Gordon and the military going against each other. Thank you for this. I assume you'll say no, but I must ask, because I really can't stand them not being on the same side: If you do another one of these anywhere, and you don't have to, would you consider the Nihilanth's chamber?

    It's unpresident that #Microsoft hasn't bought Unity and kept it open source. It is a great tool for all experience levels. Perhaps they could release a version 7.6 but keep long term suppot.

    Half-Life Timeline 2 - The H.E.C.U. and Black Ops forces have been sent to Black Mesa Facility to rescue the survivors and try to contain the resonance cascade by co-working with the Black Mesa Scientists Team, including Gordon Freeman. - In the end they realized the Resonance Cascade would never stop becuase there had a powerful being on the other side keeping the portals opened. So the H.E.C.U. prepared theirselves and decided to sent troops to the Borderworld Xen to support Gordon Freeman in the hunting of the one called "Nihilanth". - Another squad is sent somewhere else with other H.E.V. Like Gina Cross and Colette Green with the support of Adrian Shepard and Barney Calhown to stop the Race X forces that also is trying to use the oportunity to invade Earth. - The death of Nihilanth and The Gene Worm would free the Vortigaunts race who would alert humanity from the Combine's menace that plans on attacking Earth soon and help the humanity to counter and stop the Combine invasion. - Gman who couldn't approach Freeman since he is always surrended by marines would have to watch everything for distance and wouldn't be able to hire his services to his employers. And now with Nihilanth, Gene Worm and the Combine defeated, the humanity with the help of the Vortigaunts stops the resonance cascate and after years of madness Earth is finally safe. Freeman and others would be world known as heroes that saved human race and their names would be in the history books. - It would be discovered that Wallace Breen had contacted the Combines before all events and actually wanted the Resonance Cascade to happen so the Combine could arrive on Earth, he would be declared a public traitor and get a life sentence behind the bars. - However the Romantic Ship between Alyx and Gordon wouldn't exist because he wouldn't be detained by Gman and would be much older when Alyx aged up to the same age of the games, because in Half-Life 1 Intro shows us that Gordon is 27 years old. And in Induction show us that Alyx were only 1 year old at that time. So without Gman's job, Freeman wouldn't be detained in time for 22 years, so when Alyx completed 23 years Gordon would be 49 years old and problably already married and with his own family already since he would be one of the famous heroes that saved Earth. - Barney Calhown would finally have paid for that beer he owned Gordon. - Gman then would go back in time with his mysterious onipotent powers to generate another timeline, one that he would be able to hire Doctor Freeman and Alyx. So during the intructions of the mission Black Mesa, he convinces the generals that ll personal in Black Mesa are infected with a lethal virus and must be terminated, and the mostly dangerous one is a scientists in a H.E.V. Suit called Gordon Freeman. In the end this timeline becames the one we play. Where H.E.C.U. and Black Ops hunts and kills all personal of the facility. This is all a just made up theory by myself but what you guys think about it?
