Hello Jodi. Thanks for watching!👩🏼🧒🏻 Normally Privadas have a regimen de condominio/condo regime, where owners have to follow certain guidelines. Everything comes down to what the HOA committee votes and agrees with. For example parties after 11 pm might not be allowed, guests have to park in a certain area, etc. Is just normal guidelines. HOA fees normally cover maintenance of the complex common areas. For example VIETTRI has amenities like grill area, pool, etc. Private spaces (inside your house) are owners' responsibility, you will mow the lawn, trimm plants etc by yourself or hire someone to do it. Merida has affordable prices for that kind of stuff. Home Depot has its place, but nothing beats the variety and prices you can find just by shopping around locally!, although Home Depot does have the advantage of being open late, until 10 PM, and even on Sundays, which can be convenient when you need something urgently

You are right, actually it's a little bit more, in our case we didn't considered the costs of our 2nd car ☺️, and that we like to go out to restaurants, bars, etc 🧑‍🍳🍷, dogs, and certain hobbies we pay for ☺️. The thing we need to fix, is going more to mexican markets and street tianguis, to get fruits and vegetables for a cheaper price. In the long term Merida Yucatan Mexico is cheaper in all ways. Our pool is 6 mts X 4 mts (6 metres length, 4 metres width)(19.6 feet X 13.1 feet). It's always better to buy the pool's chemical supplies online (it's cheaper that way) and just ask the pool guy to use it. Congratulations for your new project! We follow your channel from a long time ago, and actually helped us to know more about Merida before we relocated full time here. Thanks for sharing too!
