Lovely car. I bought an '08 model BMN 170HP version new. Still have it at 23k kms. Adequate performance and good economy when driven normally. At 16 yo im thinking of changing the timing belt even though its only low kms. Wouldnt want that snapping. Have done a DSG fluid exchange also. The foam deadener under the plastic engine cover disintegrated, so replaced that with a good heat resistant silver covered foam.
how much is insurance, roadtax,... a year on these ? i have the money to buy one, but i want to know if i can maintain one 😅
£345 for a roadtax and insurance really depends from how many years u have Drving license, how many years of NCB do you have etc etc.. I've paid £580 for insurance on my E46

It's very nose heavy because of the iron diesel block...a GTI or GT 1.4 would drive better on those type of roads...but on the autobahn I would pick this TDI

the car is dynamic and the average fuel consumption is 7 liters I think it's a good car for not a lot of money
