Manned Level Crossing, Parramatta Rd, Granville
Просмотров 5 тыс.11 лет назад
Manned Level Crossing on Parramatta Road, Granville. The road traffic light 50m away from the level crossing is interlocked with the boom-gate. For the better safety level; the boom gate is controlled by the local signaller.
The K2 duplication was genius, converting East Hill line from a very quiet line into a major corridor to the Campbelltown and beyond, which used to go via Granville.
So does the Exothermic Thermite reaction remove the rust from the rails?
Where are you from?
Earth
GET THE PHARK OFF THE SLEEPERS YOU KEINT 😡🤬🤬😠😡😤
The most stupid thing to do is replace HW point machines with clamp locks.
Que desmadre.
we may use small sand mold🤔. less iron oxide and aluminum🤔
The best train track ever made.
How do you pour thermite if you're upside down, Australia?
Lmao
Same way northerners pour thermite lmao
Easy, it's infused with helium
Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
Hello dears, I am an employee of Iran Railways. I have recently created a channel about Iran's railways, which was also registered in the UNESCO organization 2 years ago. I share videos on the channel about the beauty and very interesting and special points that exist in Iran's railways. I would be very grateful if you visit my channel and support me.🌹🥀💙❤
Is it QP process?
Railtech is leader in Rail Welding ..
My son, was "RV" Ryan with Railtec in the US. ....
Hi. How can I chat with you's son?
Very the dark view.not have lighting for shot ?
At a quick glance I thought it was New York's Long Island Railroad. Anything in Railroading is interesting tracks switching you name it, I have model electric trains.
english cross
Samsungjbbhj
I forgot I was watching a model for a second.
Perhaps because this isn't a model? If you zoom in on the rails, you can see both the bolts fixing the fishplates to the sleepers, and you can also see the pandrols fixing the tracks to the fishplates. This would have to be a model in a very big scale for it to contain that level of detail - It's almost like it's in a 1:1 scale. 😉
@@Trotters79I don't remember why I made that comment 4 years ago...
nice video that alarm sounds really sick poor thing
at the start, the way that the gate is sort of like split and then joins up reminds me of a type of dutch crossing
If you are talking about the gate shape well then you might be talking about the ‘wishbone gate’ a type of formation for crossing gates that isn’t used a lot today.
Get off the sleeper mate far out, just lines the weld up and probably fucked it
Good demo Tony.
Nice
Sir job chahiye
Yay! That's in Sydney!
Nice work Tony...time to show some Australian made components
First rule, don’t stand on the slipper.mateeeee
SINIŠA BULOVAN pisses me off when my offsides does this right after I line it up
MAAAAATE....we cant be beaten....lol.
Nice
That alarm is glitching!
tri samaj me nahi aayega
timstow thinks its not interesting because he cannot understand anything that is going on here. Not to worry, a lot of people have very little comprehension of mechanical items. That's why so many work in the fast food industry.
Not sure why you think facing point locks are necessary with power operated points. Removing them would make the throw time much quicker. Also US&S makes covers for its pneumatic point machines. ruclips.net/video/g4-_E6m_gPg/видео.html
About as interesting as watching paint dry!
What colour?
That is nothing; you should see the interlocking in North Philadelphia (near N. Broad & Lehigh near the old Connie Mack Stadium) where the 2-track Manayunk-Norristown Regional Rail Line (the former Reading R.R. Main Line) joins together with the 4-track SEPTA Main Line (former Reading R.R. Bethlehem Line), with trains coming from either Center City (30th Street, Suburban/Penn Center, and Jefferson/Market East Stations) and Chestnut Hill, Doylestown, Trenton, Fox Chase, and Norristown changing tracks or merging/diverging to either bypass or stop at North Philadelphia (ex-Reading) station.
Another American saying "hey we are better"....
C k'
it's satisfying
これシドニー(Sydney)のシティーレール(City rail)かい!
川合誠 tuly
The train is a four-car set, i.e. approximately (20m x 4) 80m. The platform on the down line is short, only 40m accommodating only two rear carriages, passenger get in and out from the those two carriages in the rear. The first two front carriages are hanging out at the crossing with the doors closed.
1:00 why did the train stop on the loud crossing?
MrBnsftrain because the station was probably not long enough for the 8 carriage Oscar train so one part of the train reaches the station and this part can’t
Here in the USA most of our double slips also have movable point frogs for a smoother ride.
+SparkDalmatian Agreed. Far less maintenance as well.
SparkDalmatian THERE'S three TRACKS involved in that configuration right 🚂🚆🚉🚞🚄🚅🚈🚇🚝🚋🚃🚎🚌
You're sooooo fucking superior, aren't you?
pingpongpung I am beyond superior. I see all and I know all. I have infinite wisdom.
In Australia, we're just pleased that there's a line, and that trains come along it. We don't expect trains to be either comfortable, or quick.
