Yas... honor self by staying 10 toes on those boundaries. I'm learning to honor those boundaries, myself. And not taking it personal if my partner crosses a line. To me, relationships are all about even give and take. You have to somewhat compromise with your partner, i feel to have a successful relationship. You don't have to necessarily conform to your partners ideals of who they want in a partner. But you don't want to be indifferent to their needs and wants in that partnership. I'm also learning it's okay for me to walk away if my partner doesn't align with my core values. I'm not trying to change anyone and i don't want them trying to change me. Which goes back to what I was saying about accepting my partner for who they are and showing up authentically. Being okay with them not being for me. I feel like alot of us compromise our charter (when we don't know ourselves) trying to fit the bill. Struggling to make things work when we just don't align... learning to be okay with that

I just want to be myself. Trying to appease my partner by being a "Good Wife" is a heavy burden. I can accept if we do not align but I'm not trying to play a role.
