I don't really worry so much about the heat as much as I worry about the strength of the sun since he sunburns easily. I travel a lot with Kojak and we frequently vacation in the South of France where it can get really hot and the cement can get very hot and burn his paw pads(I learned the hard way unfortunately). We therefore tend to only go for walks in the early evening when the sun is not shining so bright. I find it a little harder to go for walks with him when I'm in Europe since there are a lot more dogs than I'm used to seeing in my neighborhood in VA. Kojak isn't bothered by the dogs - it's more that the dogs are not used to seeing a cat walking on a leash and they tend to get excited which spooks Kojak a bit. Dog owners have sometime been a tad bit rude - it's almost like they are frustrated to encounter a cat along their walk.

Kojak was just a kitten - maybe 4 or 5 months old when I started having him get used to wearing a harness. He's a pretty easy going kitty and never really struggled to adapt to the harness. We enjoy our walks together 😊. If you are training your cat, I hope things work out.

This is an older video - Kojak is a little more senior now and doesn't really play with toys like he used to. I miss seeing him play. I just love the way Sphynx cats use their paws... it's like they have fingers. Thanks for stopping by my channel.

I add a supplement powder to his everyday food to make sure he is getting all the nutrients that are necessary. On occasion, I give Kojak a treat and will give him a cornish hen (like you see in this video). When I do that, I do not add the supplement powder. Bui I only feed him a cornish hen a few times throughout the year so it's no big deal that I don't add the supplement on those occassions.

I don't know, Farrah. My mommy won't let me at a Tootsie Pop long enough to get to the center. She's afraid I'll become diabetic if I eat too many sweets. She's a big meanie! 😁

Thanks for stopping by, Farrah. Kojak is doing well. Life is keeping me so busy that I haven't had much time to shoot videos, but I'm thinking of doing a Fashion Show video so Kojak can show off all his snazzy outfits. Hope to get something uploaded to my channel soon. 😊

Not sure what you're using to try to wipe off the spots, but body oils and ear wax typically washes off easily on Kojak when I use a warm washcloth with some baby shampoo. If the cat is scratching a lot, I would reach out to the owner to see if they want you to take the cat to a vet. Not sure what else to suggest. Good Luck!

How exciting! I can only imagine how anxious you are to finally hold your little baby in your arms. I still remember the day I went to pick up Kojak from the breeder. Touching him for the first time was so amazing. I remember thinking how soft and warm he was. It was a strange feeling since I had never held a Sphynx before. Enjoy your little bundle of joy :)

We are anxiously awaiting nice weather to get out on our usual walks again. It seems like ages since we've been out for leisurely walk due to the pandemic and bad weather but there's hope on the horizon that we will be free to roam the world again some day soon (I hope! ) :) Thanks for stopping by...

That's pretty funny - but yeah, he's pretty muscular. He's not a big cat but overall he's pretty heavy for his size. I always say it's because he's so stocky and muscular.

I used a kt called the Litter Kwitter. I trained Kojak to use the toilet when he was just a kitten. Not all cats adapt to using the toilet but Kojak is a very routine cat. He tends to use the toilet shortly after he eats so that made it very easy for me to work with him. Some people are against toilet training because they say it's not natural for a cat to use a toilet and that they like to dig in the sand before they go. Kojak doesn't seemed bothered by the toilet - he still digs or makes the motion of digging before positions himself on the toilet. I don't recommend forcing a cat who seems to resist using the toilet - but if it works for them, then by all means "go for it". I love the convenience of traveling and not having to worry about a litter box. Kojak is so trained on using the toilet that when we go for walks, he starts making a fuss if he needs to go to the bathroom. He won't squat and go in the outdoors... he starts running back toward the house and jumps right up on the toilet just as soon as he's back home. It's so funny when he does that! - but that's a clear indication to me that he thinks of the toilet as his litter box! Now if I could only train him to flush the toilet. Thanks for stopping by :)

I bought him from a breeder in NJ (Nocoatkitty). I waited a long time before I got him - it just felt weird buying a cat because there are so many up for adoption, but Sphynx cats rarely pop up in your average shelter so I decided to just get one. I never regretted the decision. If you really want one, I recommend you follow through with your desires - these kitties are so lovable and social. I've always had cats and loved every one of them. Kojak is different though and if I ever decide to get another cat, it will very likely be another Sphynx. Thanks for stopping by....
