KL Rahul 🔥🔥🇮🇳🔥🇮🇳🔥
Hey stumbled upon this video, glad someone recorded it. One of the few joys of following our Test team is watching their performance in the first class games before the start of the series both home and abroad. Unfortunately with the cricket calender so packed this decade and with our Captain time and again unwisely choosing against playing practice matches for reasons (genuine and otherwise) I have missed watching players acclimatizing and gaining form before a series. Coming to Rahul, for such a beautiful strokeplayer to be forced to play the defensive opener role in swinging conditions and an anchor in IPL since 2018 has been a huge letdown to me. I rate him as highly as VVS, Azhar and G.Vishwanath in their heydays and felt it was really uswise to have such a strokeplayer open the innings despite it working in domestic cricket. There is no Opener in the last 4 years (where Test batting had been historically very hard) who has managed to succeed in all three formats away from Home. Having him open across formats and expecting him to perform like the No 4 'superstars' of cricket didn't make sense at all. Clearly it unsettled Rahul's technique particularly to the incoming delivery and messed up his cover drive where he was scooping the ball to point and mid-off and his overall confidence. I really hope he gets a chance in the middle order this series or in the near future so he can showcase the potential he showed im 2017 to be the next best Indian batsman following the footsteps of Kohli.
I think the problem with KL Rahul is that his technique has changed so much in the last 5-6 years. You watch him bat in 2016 to 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and each time, you will see a very different batsmen. Whereas with somebody like Kohli, Smith, Williamson or Root, there is very minimal change. I think once KL finds what works for him, he will have a lot of success. He is a unicorn, as he can be an opener, middle order batsmen, finisher, wicket keeper and play any role the team wants him too. He is a very versatile player and extremely valuable to any team. I truly believe if he just focuses on ODI and T20s, he can be a genuine limited overs great. And arguably the best middle order batsmen India has ever produced. However, this is where the problem starts. India also want him to play Test Cricket, which is perfectly reasonable. But then they bench him for 2 months, like they did in Australia. You are just wasting his career. They will likely move him up and down the line-up in Tests as well, and that uncertainty will just cause more problems for Rahul. And what really worries me, is that Rahul will continue to experiment with his technique where it may also end up impacting his limited overs Cricket, where he has the potential to be a true great. They will kill three birds with one stone. KL Rahul is such a fun player to watch. You pay good money to watch him bat. If India and Shastri ruin his career, it will be a real tragedy
Probably the greatest batsman India has ever produced
Lmao, who are Kohli/Sachin/Dravid/Sehwag/Dhoni/Kapil/Gavaskar then?
Sachin,Dravid,Kohli,Rohit,Ganguly are just dummies amirite
🥵
@@aman_s_96 correction probably the best Indian batter right now
Lmaooo💀
That no-look pass at 0:55! He sees his teammate and then he just waits for for the defence to relaxe a bit and he makes the perfect pass.
Noice im also a nucks fan
Um I don’t think u used the right song I don’t think Petterson human he’s to good at hockey to be human
Petey has the capacity to be a forward in the likes of Kent Nilsson, Sedin brothers or Forsberg. When his career is over it wouldn't surprise me if he has surpassed them all statistically. He and Rasmus (Dahlin) is on AN OT HER LE VEL.
Awesome song!
my lil bro watch this and said he had aimbot LOL
Super video for a Super Swede 👊💪 Thanks! I never get tired of watching how he make fun of all opponents 😁😆

Damn this video is gunna get demonetized with all this graphic violence. Broken ankles everywhere!!
Elias Pettersson is extremely underrated. He is a Top 5 Centre in the league at age 21, but does not get the recognition he deserves. Elias Pettersson is a very intelligent and complete hockey player. He is elite offensively and defensively. Pettersson is also an analytics darling. In the last 2 years, Pettersson is ranked 3rd in GAR, 2nd in GAR/60, 12th in xGAR, 6th in xGAR/60 and was statistically responsible for 25.7% of all Canucks wins (WAR%). Pettersson's first 2 seasons in the NHL are arguably the most dominant than any other player in the analytics era, including Connor McDavid (25.9 WAR%). Pettersson does not get enough credit he deserves for being a one man army. Please share this video! imgur.com/a/30mo98Y imgur.com/a/R8rzLhO
