Yeah that can happen. I find it's always a good idea to keep a save before taking a sidejob or a murder case, just in case it screws you with little to no evidence. At least with murders you can kind of "reroll" the case and have a chance it'll give you evidence the next time, but I don't think you can do that for sidejobs. I don't know how correct I am though, haven't played since the updates started rolling out.

That sucks, I've had it happen where I open it and it doesn't give the info, but then I try it again and it works. Never had it just outright not give me the info. I have no idea how to fix that, sorry. Wish I could help.

I just do it for performance, if the game ran better I'd definitely be playing the biggest one.

My strategy would be to knock on people's doors and ask random people walking around the building, you usually will get lucky and find someone who knows them and gives their full name, then I go to the Police Database, put in the name and it'll give you the apartment number. That's what I do anyway. You can also find the security room in the apartment and check the file cabinet. If they don't give you enough information to ask around it always sucks. I always save before taking a sidejob just in case they don't give enough info.

Yeah sometimes with the ones where you have to find a person with a Kola or whatever, they'll send you to a bar in a basement where there's absolutely no one in there/it's closed. Same with the telephone ones, they'll sometimes send you somewhere that's not open and you actually have to break in to get the call.

What's the issue? Keyboard too loud? I'm using a Blue Yeti that just currently sits on my desk.

@@kramercacaman I've been making podcasts since 2016 and for the first couple of years I used a Blue Yeti. If you aren't careful with it that thing will pick up the sound of your hair growing. Bonebus is right. Also make sure the dial is turned to cardioid and your mouth is around six inches away from the mic. I eventually bought a dynamic microphone which is much more suited for podcasting or streaming. You can get one for under $100. Keep the Blue Yeti though. It's a great mic for applications like Zoom or Skype or online gaming with others. I've heard WAY worse audio so you are doing something right. Just needs a little fine tuning.

They attacked because I arrested someone in front of them but I agree it's a little strange, maybe they'll tweak the way NPCs aggro in the future

The police department is privatized. You're their competition. If people attack you, that's your problem. If you arrest someone in front of them or just help yourself to a crime scene, you are interfering with their business and they'll attack. I don't know if that's actually the way the enforcers were programmed to behave but it makes sense to me.

Yeah there's a lot of stuff that doesn't seem implemented yet that I hope they add. Like how there's ovens and raw food but you can't cook it. There's cigarettes, a cigar, a pipe, lighters and matches but you can't smoke. Guns and ammo. The apartment storage doesn't work. Still, it's a phenomenal game (when it works) and I think the Steam score would be Overwhelmingly Positive if they fixed all these issues.

@@kramercacaman I agree. This game is phenomenal and I do see this going big. Quality of life update is needed but it’s not the most essential right now but it is important to roleplay. I think this game need to be marketed to the Deus Ex community as this is what the creator wanted when I watched a video of building up, not building wide. When I saw the gameplay and every floor and room is generated, I knew that is what he’s talking about. Keep up the videos. Loving every second of if.

Could have something to do with reloading, I just heard Theft jobs break if you reload during them. I'm sure they'll iron out all this stuff eventually.

Today will be another Weird West video but I'm pretty sure the next Shadows of Doubt one is the first murder case I do. Yep, just checked, it'll be the next one, episode 09. It'll go up tomorrow.
