probably to document their progress or try and encourage other beginners. it can be discouraging for beginners to only ever see pros and the greats. maybe they just make the content for others like them. not sure whats so confusing about that

Because we live in a world where entertainment is valued more than ever. And btw, if every beginner is posting their stuff, then your feed would only have beginners learning instruments. There are millions of people taking up an instrument everyday for the first time. So rather appreciate those who are willing to spend time entertaining you. If you don't find it entertaining, you can filter it out.
