@@JT_RNR thank you 🙏 she is already doing a bit better, but needs care and on top because of it, I wasn’t really in the mood to race or make vids, but life goes on and I hope I’ll be back soon.

i played a lot of F1 games in the past, but skipped a few of them in recent years. Thought it would be fun to pick up again and why not record it.

sorry, I missed this message. it does give you more view but most of your right screen is the inside of the car your driving. on the left screen you can see someone driving next to you, but they need to be close enough to you for it. I imagine changing the angle of the screens in the game could help with more view, but I haven’t tried that yet.

@@JT_RNR I won’t become a pro racer - at the moment I’m „testing“ how low my iRating can get 😄 - therefor a single screen is enough, think I will get a cheap 58“ Tv, 60hz is enough since my rtx 4070 isn’t able to put out a constant 120 or 144 fps, but constantly 60 fps is no problem. For me fun is the most important thing and a big screen is nice for immersion 🙂 p.s. I think I will start streaming on Twitch from time to time, guess could be fun

that’s pretty unfortunate. where you in this exact race? as you might have seen I didn’t make it to the first carousel the first lap this time.

Definitely a tough track. To bad it did not last the whole race because of the incident. About the other story, I have seen these channels to. They really seem to blow up in an instant, very interesting indeed. But like you said, good for this person. I am sure the woman is a lot more interesting to look at then my content, lol.

@@JT_RNR that women are still more a novelty when it comes to sim racing, I get that and it’s not like one guy in the comments meant that RUclips is preferring women, it’s men who are interested in if a woman gets into sim racing 😄 but what really made me think what’s going on bout that one video was, like I said, a whole 6k set-up, an rtx 4090, triples and all the overlays before your first race…when I started not long ago, I knew of Racelab etc, but first thing I wanted to do was to get into a race, all the info you get from overlays what good are they for, if you can’t get a clean lap around the track? 😄 it’s just weird, but anyhow…a good and fun new iRacing channel is Nello Racing, I don’t know the guy or anything, but he makes fun videos 🙂

@@JT_RNR finally got out of rookies 😄 let’s see what this week will bring. P.s. made a video bout the gear I’m using, it’s Fanatek stuff but it doesn’t look too good for the company. If they go bankrupt my upgrade path is gone, but what you gonna do…

@@JT_RNR yeah, some changes after an update are expected. This week isn’t really for me on iRacing, all the series I’m interested in are on tracks I don’t like too much 😄 though, would really have loved to do the Mustang competition, but nobody is racing it… and for next week I have to concentrate on 1 or 2 series, spent already about 200 bucks this month mainly on tracks and of course for next week I have to buy 1 or 2 new ones, iRacing ain’t cheap. This week I was more on Low Fuel Motorsports, Assetto Vorsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, it’s fun too 🙂 this summer the new Assetto Corsa should be released, hope it will be good

Great cars and the racing in these classes is pretty solid.

@@JT_RNR so, this week I wanted to get out of rookies with the open wheelers but this week the track is Circuit de Ledenon 🤦🏻😄

That track is pretty awesome I think. But I can imagine the carnage in open wheels there 🤭

@@JT_RNR will test out Formula 4 first, then I‘ll see. F1 surely isn’t my goal, too fast too complicated 😄 it’s really often, the slower the cars the more fun the race. My main interest still are street car races, just started on low fuel Motorsports with MX-5 races in Assetto Corsa, they are fun, but the other drivers are quite a bit stronger as in rookies on iRacing, though the MX-5 races on lfm are also rookie.

I agree. I am also mostly here for races from MX5 and GR86 upto GT3 racing. I do also enjoy the oval racing in iRacing. My goals also is not F1. I did that for many years in the codemasters games. Nobody is to serious racing online there.

Yes it is, but also very much my own fault trying to defend to heavily after a mistake seconds earlier. Overall racing on this track was fun for sure.
