No. Though i do have carplay and use that for waze or google maps. The device is used to control my cars steering.

I love it. Don't like the fact that it still uses Toyota ACC controls for gas/braking but i got used to it. To remove the cover, first remove the small piece that is right above the mirror. You grab it from the headliner and pull it down. Don't grab it from the hole. Then to remove the bigger piece which is held down by clips. You slide it down towards the windshield. Don't pull it straight down. Just slide it along the windshield down and the clips will disengage.

FunGabriel Really appreciate your reply with detailed instructions. I’m new to this and not a coder. A few more questions if you don’t mind. How does ACC controls compare to applications in other carmakers? Is the setup as easy as they describe to uninstall dash cam software and install open pilot (assuming it loads latest version and then have to do updates when released)? For the wire, did you have to remove left side airbag panel or were you able to easily tuck under headliner, at top of airbag panel piece, and then down weather stripping?

@@ronniekister OpenPilot Longitude controls (ACC Gas/brake) is better because it reacts as if a human is applying the brakes rather than a computer. Stock ACC does panic brakes. I am sure you have used DRCC and know the feeling. Though it's fine, I got used to it on my car. Though I have driven a 2019 Rav4 with full Openpilot controls and its a lot better than stock. The setup is easy and you most likely won't need to fingerprint the car. Start it up, make sure you select advanced custom and input the address to download openpilot. It's easy and will install the latest version. I opened up the airbag panel or the pillar and put the while behind the airbag. You just need to open up the panel a bit and you can stick it through. Though there are videos of how to install openpilot and they say that putting the wire along the top of the airbag panel is fine too since the airbag deployment pushes upwards or something like that and the wire won't hit you in the face if the airbags do go off. The ethernet cable that goes down to the obd2 is the flat cable style. So it was really easy to tuck it into the headliner, then inside the weatherstripping on the door and to the obd2.

If you have the XSE/XLE or hybrids, it'll go down to 0. L, LE, and SE it won't. It uses the stock DRCC but uses openpilot's steering.
