Ahhh I see I used RipX to isolate the drum track. Didn’t sound like there were any crashes on the verses. Also, that snare thing he does in choruses 1 & 2 it doesn’t sound like there is ride in there . Also, it sounds almost like they put some weird delay on the snare. Have you listened to just the drum track by itself? Lots of stuff you can’t hear in the full band original recording

hit harder man, its a rock song! don't play so timidly and "Rush"ed. here's a little tip for you. take the song slow at first, learn all songs and grooves and everything slow at first so you can get a feel for it and play it better at full tempo. if you dont use Drumeo i would highly recommend checking it out, they have tons of songs on there and its so helpful with learning drums. other than that you did really well, better than i can LOL, you should try YYZ next!
