Why preferring the Fade to the Draw - this is why
Everybody dreams about hitting long Draws, running forever and achieving tremendous Tee-off-distances. Well, I don't wanna steal your dream, but maybe its good news for you, that the Fade is the most preferred and much safer shot in hitting fairways compared to the Draw.
It is so much easier to hit a controlled Fade down the road and not to worry of the ball is ending up rolling in a higher rough.
What I mean by saying this and why you should think about your Dream one more time, I will explain in this video!
Good luck and have fun practising!

Better off the Tee - less Slices - less Skymarks - better Drives

I know that there is only one golf swing in a technical way, but there are certainly many many different intentions how to hit the Golfball. To hit the Driver better and straighter, you have to learn to hit it off the tee up in the air. How you have to imagine the impact and how you could manage to get the ball airborne without a big curve of a slice, I will show you in this Video. Don't forget...
The Turn - Reloaded Part 2 This is what your shoulders and hips should do

We all know that the turn in the Golfswing is essential. And there are so many ways Golfer interpret the way to turn. And yes, there are many ways, but just a few are the right ones. Most of you have watched my video about the turn and the hula hoop, where the picture of the turn is getting a bit clearer. In this video I get more in the details about what the shoulders and arms are supposed to ...
How high to tee up - find the right height for you
Просмотров 7412 месяца назад
This is a question so many Golfers are not sure about and I get it asked quiet a lot. And as always in Golf, there is not a 100% right way to do it. It really depends how you move your Driver and attack the Ball. If you stay behind the ball enough, you can tee it up high, if you have the tendency to attack the ball in a steeper way, what you should work on to get it a bit shallower, then tee it...

I am sold. 90 golfer tried draw for 2 years. Maybe didn't do it right anyway. Plan to try fade. Always get confused but I think I understand club face to destination line and stance to start. Swing along stance position. Is that correct?

Slightly disagree with the left hand wrist position at impact. You can still hit down and release with a strong left hand grip.

I have a question about using the club to measure the launch angle of the ball, by standing on the club-face, like you demonstrate at 7:40. You mention this is OK in a private round, so are you saying it isn't allowed during a competition? If it is not OK for the player to do it, I think it might be OK for a caddy to do it, because I first saw this done in a pro tournament where the caddy tested the launch angle just like that. I've done it myself a couple of times in club competitions, but didn't realise it wasn't allowed.

Your video comes closest to answer a question I still have, but which seems like has an obvious answer... Should the "line" on the golf ball be pointed TO the hole, or pointed in the direction of the break line that you intend to putt?

Glad to see this but it came a day too late for me. 😂 Yesterday I took four shots to get it out of the bunker, that said, the bunker side was very high and steep and the ball only a foot away! In a game I would probably take a drop shot but in practice I wanted to have a go.

I have realised from watching you that body conditioning is half the battle. Your “broom handle” exercises have been the most effective learning/conditioning aid for me. I also pop up too early and my lovely coach is so patient he just keeps telling me over and over, “keep your head down” ! Thanks for your expert insights! Looking forward to trying out an AI Smoke driver. It's refreshing to see some playing tips that will reduce scores. Most golf instruction seems to focus on technical swing mechanics which is great for the driving range, but not so good to think about when actually playing the game (I believe too many swing thoughts are a recipe for a bad score).

This is a GREAT lesson. But I have 2 comments. First, I was always taught not to SWAY. So I learned how to turn instead. This coaching talks about tilting the hips. It might be confused with swaying, but it’s not! Also, I was wondering if you could film the leg/hips part from behind you. It would be easier to see exactly what you’re taking about! Maybe others would appreciate that as well. Thanks for your great lessons!

Most of what you say is true. And you are right, clubface is king. But so is keeping that clubface PERPENDICULAR to the SINGLE PLANE THAT THE TILTED SHAFT IS MOVING ON. This is what brings "the king" back to square at impact every time. People see arc rotation relative to the target and unknowingly tweak it thus destroying PERPENDICULARITY to the tilted shaft swing plane. And as you correctly point out most of the rotation is at the impact to follow-through positions. They do not go under but rather around thus destroying their constancy. Some coaches recommend practicing with a long putter because with the left arm going at the hole it is easy to LOCK OUT the CC rotation through the ball. An actual touring pro showed me that. He practices with a long putter one hour a day. He is getting rid of rotation on "the king". Tiger's right hand only drill does the same thing plus it introduces a nice release. A free floating club has little propensity to twist and removes built up timing issues. You START OUT making 6 foot putts the next day when you resume practicing.

This tip has helped me enormously, you mentioned it in passing in an earlier video and I immediately improved my aim! Many thanks for a clear simple explanation as always. 😎
