Hi Wooly - I'm Darry D's wife, but we are on a cruise and I can't get to my RUclips. I have a question, where do you get your felt and supplies. I am bee crazy and love the bees you do. But I want to make a bundle, and just am not sure where to buy wool. I see that you can start with white, which I assume is less expensive, and then cover it with yellow and black. What did you use for eyes.
Hello , in this video I used plastic/acrylic needle felting eyes - measuring 2-3mm diameter. Hope this helps ! :)
So cute! A couple sourcing questions: What is the string/wire you’re using? And where’d you get that adorable sewing case? I can imagine so many uses for something like that. Thank you!
Thank you 😊 I am using a gold colour jewellery stringing wire (I’m not quite sure what diameter/size wire this is 😅) - I presume it can be found in most craft stores. I got the sewing kit box from local dollar store. It is definitely handy to store the loose bits and pieces ☺️
Can you tell where you buy your felting tools
Hello , I bought the wool/needle at a local shop. Alternatively you can Google and see if there are online shops that deliver locally :)

These penguins are so cute ! I have just ordered my needle felting kit, and I have a question : where do you get your materials for needle felting ? The wool, the little eyes, and things like that ? Do you buy them online, or do you buy them in shops ? Sorry if my question is a bit stupid !
Thank you 🥰 and no - that’s a great question! I first got all the wool/needle/sponge/eyes from one online website based in NZ. I really liked the quality and would still buy from them, but there was shipping fees unless I bought in large quantities I then looked around locally, and some craft shops/knitting stores also sold wool rovings. The eyes - I later found they were sold on various online stores. If you type in “needle felting eyes” on Google - you will see them on Amazon, Etsy , Aliexpress etc. (there are a lot of sellers, so best to do a bit of research and read reviews on quality / legit-ness of sellers etc) Hope this helps ❤️ happy needle felting ❤️
