turned 20 today,idk what to feel.

I turn 20 this month and I feel such nostalgia that no one understands.. I find myself lost lately and looking for videos to relate to I still feel like a kid :(

I turn 20 this year and it's sad but it when I think about the major things that have shaped my life, I don't think of my friends or people I met but rather my TV shows and characters that I grew up with I've never been a social person and making good memories with friends, something I could do before seems so far out of reach now I am afraid I disappointed my younger self for far too long and idk why I am writing this as some random comment, maybe skipping sleep is doing something But I hope I can get more out into the world and enjoy the moment than get anxious over nobody and stress over nothing Uhh, happy late 2025 i dunno

I'm turning 20 tomorrow and honestly I'm not looking forward to it. It's like this time tomorrow I won't be able to do shit teenagers can do and I'm automatically in some office working a 9-5. I'm grieving the last few years of my life, especially as I missed out on some stuff teens would do. I used to get mega excited when I got a new toy but buying a new baking tin is the equivalent of that. I just wish I could stay this carefree forever but now I have to worry about getting an actual big girl job, all my friends are getting married and having kids but I'm not, etc. I know it's a part of life but this has probably been the 1st time where I genuinely wasn't looking forward to my birthday, and it sucks

Hi....i turn twenty today and i am scared but numb at the same time like am i even alive or questions like am i suppose to enjoy for whatever is coming next...i dont feel anything....my acquaintances ask me what i want but i dont even know what i want....things like these milestones make me question do i even deserve all that i have or am i taking everything for granted..,..i know i might sound dramatic but who cares we are still young.. 20yo i feel like i'm kinda late at life (maybe because i'm in third world country) even tho i have a good combination of skills, i know copywriting, video editing، trading, some coding and i study petrochimistry engineering at university, i'm very scared and i had goals in my mind to achieve at my early 20s since i was 15 yo (time flies lol, it feels like yesterday i turned 15 but bow it's the hard reality) i gotta work much harder than i used to in my whole life this should be the peak of my performances, I'm panicking rn and feel like i need to work much much harder to get to my dreams. I turn 20 tomorrow and have been desperately looking for people who know the pain, nostalgia, sentimentalism, fear, and excitement that I am going through. I have felt dramatic and insane this past week because of how sad I have been and how much I'm grieving my childhood and teenagerhood. I feel like no one truly prepares us for the reality that is growing up. I am so excited to see the places I'll go but I also want to crawl back to the comfort that is just being a kid

Turning 20 this Sunday... I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. Gonna miss my 'teens years' .

I'm turning 20 in 17days and it's making me feel so sad. I'm overly attached to being a teenager, especially being the youngest and the only Gen Z in my family, it's like being a teen is part of my identity and of who I am. I can't see myself as anything other than a silly chaotic teen. What makes things worse is that i have the exact same hobbies as when I was 16yo, i still watch anime, still play video games etc. I did mature a lot of course and I am more capable of making the right decisions now, however absolutely nothing changed about my personality and interests. We have this pressure on us that once you turn into an adult, you should behave in a certain way and only focus on your job etc and it's making me feel so not ready to turn 20. I didn't even fully live my 19yo because I spent the year feeling sad about this being my last year as a teenager. Wish me luck :(
