Brooks Glycerin Max Review | New-Gen Running Shoe Technology for Long-Distance Comfort
Просмотров 5272 месяца назад
The Glycerin Max changed my mind about Brooks - before the arrival of the Glycerin Max, I had not been super keen on the brand, but this shoe is a game changer! With the new DNA Tuned midsole, this Glycerin Max has a soft and airy strike (heel or midfoot) with a super responsive toe-off. This shoe handles well for easy miles all the way up to race pace, seems very durable, and has a fantastic u...

Thanks for the review. Would you think this would be a good for daily wearing to work with a lot of standing and walking. I work with kids in a gym. I’d use them on the treadmill also.

If you are doing more movement and less strictly standing I think these could be a good option for you! My only concern is that a softer shoe, when worn for a long period of time, can fatigue the foot - causing those aching pains at the end of the day. Typically I recommend a firmer, more structured shoe if you’re going to be on your feet for a long period of time. That being said, this shoe is pretty balanced! Lastly, for the treadmill these would be great! I hope that helps! Thank you for commenting :)

@ thank you for the detailed explanation. Yes I’m on my feet a bit but with a lot of walking with patients and a here and there jog. It’s usually not a static stance most of the time unless I’m sitting waiting for the next patient, lol. One other thought. I tend to squat down a bit for 1-5 minutes. Would you say they’re flexible enough for that position?

@@FN-1969 absolutely! I think this shoe would be pretty solid for you in that regard. And as for squatting down, it’s definitely flexible enough for that - and the firmer forefoot would give you more stability so win win. Now I definitely would not “squat” under weight as an exercise in this shoe, but I don’t think that’s what you’re referring too here.

@ wonderful! Thank you again. Correct, squatting without any load. Just squatting down to get level with the kids I work with. I appreciate all the information and help!

I would say yes, if your around a 2E width which is considered a “wide” for men I think you would be just fine!
