Okay so that brake noise is normal? I just got a used full suspensiom bike off marketplace. Pretty close to new but the brakes sound bad imo (just like this vid) when i full force them to a abrupt stop. lm still new to this so dont know a whole lot

In summer 1995 I was mountain biking for about 3 yrs and I tried a honduh CR125 for the first time, I couldn't keep washing out the front in the soft dirt, the dude who owned the bike was constantly saying to me that I needed to lean more into the turns & push on the front tire to "load up traction", it took almost the whole day before I understood what he was saying... Same summer I got the super hyped wtb velociraptors, I was killing it my buddies couldn't follow me. Until they got into moto too 😂 Anyway geometry changed a lot but even back then the same principles applied, that's one of the easiest way to be faster.
