Hiya and thanks for stopping by and taking the time to post a comment. As far as getting out, unfortunately no thanks to this COVID we all get to deal with pretty much all aspects of life have ceased. My birds included being grounded way too long.

Sparky & Eliza Films it’s got a lot of abilities but switching from the M2Z to it takes a few batteries to get to comfortable flying they are both drones but totally different birds to fly. Cinematic work is possible just the process and flight is a different process to say the least.

Thanks for watching hope you enjoy yours as much as I have when you get it but thanks to this COVID fun been grounded too long.

Though I don’t think I do as well with the drone/ videos as you make it sound, lol, like you I haven’t had the chance to get out and do much this BS Covid19 and all the shutdowns of the areas I’d usual go has surely caused me to be grounded more than I’d like. Bj Eddy yes sir you identification off the drones shadow is spot on, this was with the Skydio2, 4th flight 2nd with the controller, still trying to find the power settings you achieve the smoothest flight characteristics as possible. As for the title recommendation again batting 💯 sir. Thank you and oversight has been rectified. With respect to the man, the president, I hole heartedly agree. And as always thank you for taking time to watch and provide your thoughts/ feedback, it’s ALWAYS appreciated. 🍻

Oklahoma DronR sir better than a pure white blanket of snow least it’s still possible for you to ride/ fly, But I hear you. Thank you for the kind comments, I’m very happy thus far in this new bird, though I’m still playing around with the Yaw, Pitch, Roll setting trying to attain the best flight characteristics possible. Wish there was a more refined system to adjust this, not to mention no matter what when the drones obstacle avoidance kicks in there is always a VERY noticeable slowdown at the beginning of its avoidance maneuvers and then an uncontrollable jump of speed back to the flight speed prior to its autonomous correction. Not sure if this will remain a necessary evil or something Skydio can address in a firmware patch. Again thank you for stopping in watching and commenting.

Bj Eddy correct, 4K 60 HDR right from drone. This drone is definitely not a all encompassing use as one might think and has flight limitations due to its superb obstacle avoidance, but with that said what it was designed for it does like a champ at least is my opinion in the short use thus far. I plan on doing a lot more in the coming weeks hopefully my opinion is not changed 😉

@@Lt184 its hard not to like it,, but I think I would be more controller oriented than the beacon, I noticed some wind (my the flag waving) and it seems stable, keep em coming

and one quick question,, so this was beacon only? and to change the angle the drone was shooting at was fairly easy I take?

Bj Eddy this one did get a lut added it was a very gloomy day and carved out a quick flight between down pours. Lol Yeah even though I was batch 1 and preordered on early AM of Second day I was behind many, but finally got m grubby hands on so prepare for skydio2 overload 😁

@@Lt184 looking forward to it, I saw a guy fly across an old bridge, live traffic,, and through a lot cross cables, he eventually crashed but it did show how awesome the avoidance is,,, bests of luck to you

Bj Eddy yeah I was torn could only talk the wife into one additional drone this year was a toss the DJI mini or Skydio2 I choose the skydio2, I’m in the first batch but so far don’t believe they started shipping yet even though last communication said they were to start in November well they still got some time to be able to hit that projected date/time I’m so bitting at the bit to get my hands on it and put it through its paces, I feel like a kid again awaiting on Santa 😂

It was very enjoyable to be back at it, gonna keep a sorta video time line montage of this areas progress, funny was to have been completed by now but no construction 🚧 project ever goes to plan lol. Working on the part 2 of the downtown Riverside project we started in Oct of last year as well hopefully that’ll be posted in the next two weeks as well. KangaAir thanks for all the comments, must be nice on the good weather we still not sure if it’s summer here yet rain on off mostly on lol. Flying here has gotten a bit harder for hobbyists thanks to the new FAA rules that don’t have the full system operational leaving us only to fly at boring AMA fields.

@@Lt184 Only a matter of time and regs I think will tighten up everywhere. Costing me in Austrian license fees & compulsory insurance usd 900 per year. Rules stipulate no flying on any Sunday or public holiday. Other days limited 8AM to 4.30PM. Cities out of bounds. Regs in other EU countries less strict, no license needed but have to follow their aviation guidelines. Max 120m elevation, always in line of sight. Good to combine maybe a go pro black / osmo pocket to help build up some interesting photography of your terrain on the west coast!
