Weighted baseballs work, but I would limit throwing time; very easy to get hurt or strain tendons. Pitching velocity comes from perfecting your throwing sequence and getting stronger. You should always be working on your sequence; so important… that and a good change-up.
Can’t agree more. How must time do you throw your weighted balls?
@ no more than a few min. Kids reading, don’t try to throw the weighted ball as hard as u you can; that’s not the point. slower motion and over exaggerate the sequencing of the throw to individually feel the different parts of the body and how they work under load.
I needed this video man, I'm a 18 year old that missed my senior season due to injuries. I've been on a strenuous journey back and I'm still not even recovered. I've been having that feeling that maybe baseball isn't the thing for me anymore, but that fire inside rekindled recently. I would be very appreciative if I could pick you brain at some point
